This story made my blood boil for three different reasons
First obviously is because assaulted a child over a freaking song
Second is that the man was released with no bond.
In what Universe does it make sense to release someone with no bond after assaulting a child to the point that he has to go to the hospital?
Thirdly the guy had a past history of violence. He had a can year sentence for another assault charge which the judge waived
I believe judges should be held liable when they give lenient sentences to Violent criminals who then reoffend

Makes no sense to let a man with a prior History of Violence back out into the community after assaulting a child, for the same reason a dog is put down when it attacks someone for no reason
