what hope does God give to those who are alone and rejected by the world around them and does God make life better for us or is he just there to accompany us through life ?

Who is alone and rejected by the world? Maybe you are just trying to be part of the wrong group.

Yea why would Jesus reject you? Only if you dont really believe Him. And didnt He say I will never leave you nor forsake you? Stop with the self pity and know the truth. He loves you!

God wants us to have life and to have it more abundantly. Perhaps you might consider broadening your horizon and try to meet some new fresh faces that may welcome you.

Another thing that few people realise is that the 144,000 to first enter gates of heaven were virgin men. Ie. unmarried and SINGLE. They were not married to the world!

Why would anyone base their acceptance and self worth on the fact that they are not married on earth. Just cos you asked someone to marry and they said no, doesnt mean you not worth anything. Some people just dont want to be married cos they living for the Kingdom and not for man or themselves.

Ok rant over. If people cant learn to be friends and brothers and sisters then we should all be mormons....or moonies.

It's not all about being part of a group or having a spouse. Never underestimate the pleasure of eating a perfectly ripened honeydew melon, or the contentment of sitting with a purring cat on your lap.

(Substitute peaches or nectarines or pineapples, and substitute a dog or green snake or ferret... whatever floats your boat. Hey, boat! Never underestimate the peace of lying in a boat on a lake.)

The point is, there are a lot of things to enjoy in life. Don't get so hung up on the parts that require being with another person or group of people.

He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
(Isaiah 53:3 NIV)

That's a scripture about Jesus.

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven;
(Matthew 5:11-12)

So married people are living for themselves and the world? Because that is what you said.

"If people cant learn to be friends and brothers and sisters then we should all be mormons....or moonies."
Who can't be friends? I see no mention of such a thing.
And if it were a struggle that person should give up and change religions?
Not much logic in your statements.

I think a lot of people assume that God wants us to have a prosperous, happy, and successful earthly life. Sure, He wants us to have joy and peace in Him. But His biggest purpose for us is to make us more like His son Jesus Christ. So He will do anything and everything to get us there. Even if that means not sending us a spouse. The more difficult life is, the more we tend to go to Him and rely on Him.

God doesn't want you to rely on a spouse for companionship or love. He freely offers that to you already. :giggle: Spend time with Jesus and seek His face. Trust in Him. It's such a beautiful feeling when you do this. Like when you're in that zone (the Holy Spirit is taking over you) you feel like nothing else matters in the world. You feel soooo happy! I can't really explain it. But it's beautiful. Search for that! Seek His face and you will find joy, peace, and contentment no matter what He sends your way.

Also, you should know that no matter what, you have friends here on CC that care about you, brother. We shall be praying for you. God bless!

Put your hope on God, who gives us richly, all things in this life to enjoy and you will learn not to complain about being single. Grattitude and contentment is the cure for a complaining attitude. If your heart is ungrateful, nothing will change even if you get married.
