A few months ago there was a thread about glasses. Hot or not.

What about facial hair?

When I see a man with a full beard I generally think older, wiser.

A couple of years ago I grew a full beard. My teenage daughter told me I look so young. It struck me as odd.

What are your thoughts?

I think I have more facial hair than I've ever wanted. And that the addition or removal of large amounts of facial hair drastically changes someone's appearance.

I love beards. To me a man with a beard is like a man with a job it's a requirement. Lol.

Lol, it is funny how we are all so different. A small kept tidy beard (like a goatee) is ok but a big unruly frizzy beard is not my thing.

Let's just say, I always keep my tweezers close by, lol...:D.

On a man, I think it neat that they have the ability to switch it up and have different looks in that way. I also think that as men age, it has to be a blessing to be able to cover up the hanging gobble gobble, lol.

I dont like to shave, therefore there is hair on my face. A few years ago my hair went to the middle of
my back, because my shears broke. I own a new pair and keep my hair short again, lol.

I sometimes have the stubble look. I got spoiled when I was younger when it took a few days before I had to shave. Since I switched to wet shaving, it’s something I enjoy as part of my morning routine even if I just plan on sitting around all day. My skin feels so much better.

I have thought about trying a beard at some point. I did one of those fake beard things with FaceApp and it made me look like a little kid pretending to be an adult.

I think it depends on the man. It works for some but not all. I would say that most men don't look as good with a beard than without. But that's just my opinion.

I was watching "A Quiet Place" the other day. I just kept thinking "wow, John Krasinski looks really good with a beard."

But Jake Gyllenhaal looks cuter without a beard.

So it just depends. Kinda of like a woman's hair color. She will look good in some colors and not others.

I used to have a beard down to my stomach. Now I just have a goatee that goes just collar my collar bone. I've always had at least a goatee since I was old enough to grow facial hair.

It really does depend on the person. :) Some look good, others don't. I personally pray I never get a beard. ;)

I think a beard is awesome or a full beard but for SOME reason I do not like the look of a mustache by itself. I think it looks a bit too 80’s I guess?

Since I was in high school and could actually grow a decent mustache I have just about constantly had at least some facial hair. Since my mid 20's I've bounced between a full beard and just a goatee. I have no idea what my chin and upper lip look like anymore. Unfortunately, I do know that the facial hair does add some to my age since the goat is now predominantly grey.

Yeah, I know what you mean. My goatee is mostly grey now.

That's why I'm surprised when people tell me I look younger than I am.

I dunno...

I love love a man I'm with to have facial hair! A nearly trimmed beard and 'stache. I still like Tom Selleck but he looks better with his mustache,IMO. It's each to his own! I hate long hair on myself and refuse to grow it,so if a man doesn't care if it long and we click were good. Now I'm not saying some men are not extremely handsome without facial hair. A strong chiseled chin and jawline doesn't need it.

You pull off the facial hair nicely!
