So, here in Australia, two male priests are getting married in an Anglican church. The ceremony will be performed by the local bishop. Loud applause by the parishioners Sunday. So it has come to this. The end times are here.

"the Church"
aahhh therein lies the problem
what worldly Christians define as The Church and what Jesus refers to as 'the church of God' are two (or many) different creatures.
I had to suffer working with Lutherans, who despite being really nice somewhat God fearing peoples, were battling wolves
who cause divisions over the ordination of women, and reinterpreting scriptures to suit their agenda.
I kept saying to them just put them out, and let these troublemakers do their own thing elsewhere.
But no they insist on embracing wolves within the flock and so all suffer. and they give wolves a voice in their synods and much
distress is generated.
The Bishops are at fault for not making a stand on the word of God and his teachings on this.

6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?
7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover
is sacrificed for us:
8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the
unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
1Corinthians 5:
A little leaven leavens the whole lump.
Galatians 5:9

What surprises me here a little is the age of the congregation. They are in there 60s and 70s to an extent. If that's the case then what have they learnt by going there for so long?? Maybe because they believe they have fulfilled there obligation to Jesus Christ for the week.

So leave that church. There will always be groups of people doing what they know is wrong. Just move on.

You can only preach the gospel of salvation to people here and there
if they have ears to listen they will hear
most will not even though they are members of 'organised religion' - but it is dead religion for dead people
God is calling people out of the world and indeed out of religion into the body of Christ - the Spirit-filled church

4 Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share
in her plagues;
5 for her sins are heaped high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.
Revelation 18:

This post may be more appropriate in the Gay Wedding thread.

LUKE 17
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
