Not By Works

I think it comes down to the words used in the Bible that you read.

Example being

Romans 8:8-9
8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. NKJV

NKJV = Flesh

NLT = Sinful Nature

The Greek is Sarx which is flesh.

Yet NLT says sinful nature.

Yet the Greek word for nature is not Sarx.

Now to me they are totally different.

So it can be easy to misunderstand based on the words used in the Bible translation you read.
