Study the Bible,
Lead a biblical life,

But something is amiss,
It ends empty and wanting,
We remain the same,
Still hungry and panting.
When finally we find,
Scripture’s not the goal,
But one of His means,
To make us whole.
Then we can feel,
His intimate touch,
And savor the peace,
We have wanted so much.
Oh, read and study,
All you can find;
Just don’t let it stay,
At rest in your mind.
Go out to the world,
To visit, feed and tend,
That God be exalted,
And self to expend.
