Grace is ongoing. 2 corinthians 12:7-10> … I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. 8Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Titus 2:11For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men. 12It instructs us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live sensible, upright, and godly lives in the present age, 13as we await the blessed hope and glorious appearance of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

What does the phrase 'all men' mean to you?

It does not get any plainer..........Our righteous works have ZERO to do with Salvation!

English Standard Version
he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,

Berean Study Bible
He saved us, not by the righteous deeds we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of new birth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.

Berean Literal Bible
He saved us, not by works in righteousness that we did, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

New American Standard Bible
He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

King James Bible
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
No question about it...and then be holy....thats include good works

Coming in after the battle. Go back in the bushes and dream up more ways to misrepresent others. I've seen you in action. Your one of the best misrepresentors out there. Hall of Fame worthy.
Pastrami.....did you say something....no not really....jist parroting your professor that trained with Timothy Leary.......the funny thing....I can read the definition of words unlike you that just makes the crap up as you go!

Battle, really, if there was a real battle I am sure @dcontroversal would have been here.

So far it has barely risen to a school yard brawl.

You really have yet to respond to any countering posts with substance.
Me raking rocks in the dirt around the pond has more value than either engaging his fantasy island false gospel and or even taking the time to read his drivilistic blather

What's wrong with my application? the verse says Jesus who humbled Himself to the point of a servant, was a man in every way, tempted as a man and was made victorious as a man thus was saved just like men are.

My question to you is simple; was Jesus saved? how?
According to you and your dreamboat anti-gospel, no one is saved......and the way you apply scripture is hilariously sad and inept at the same time.....My handicapped kid knows more than you when it comes to the correct message!

Common sense. If you have already been saved/rescued from sin, you can not continue in sin; and if you continue in sin then you have not been rescued from it.
More proof you do not know what you are talking about right here in this verse.....wow man....In all honesty, you are one of the top 4 or 5 twisters, rejectors, embellishers, deniers of the word of God that I have ever seen...the things you say point to the fact rhat you really do not know the bible...........wow!

So your just going to double down on the mistranslated words, and your illegitimate claim on God's Spirit, His Son, His word, and His promises?

Pretty straight forward! Your claiming the things of God when there not yours yet. Before you triple down on this path , I'm out!
Your two paragraphs have a combined six grammatical errors yet you have the audacity to say everyone is incorrectly translating a Greek word. smh.

They are so against the Gospel, it seems like they will write anything, no matter how nonsensical!

I'm not very aggressive by nature. But I figure when we meet on the other side, many of you will ask me why I didn't try harder to persuade you. I seems like the harder I try, the more you dig in!
Perhaps if you were more aggressive you would have challenged your instructors and not fallen prey to their misguided teachings.

Nice twist of the word of God.....so did you change the order of the wording on purpose to fit your theology or just pick a particular translation........or what....

I did that.....Had an instructor say that he could prove all three beliefs on the "rapture" from the bible....I raised my hand and said....But there is one truth concerning the "rapture and the timing of it" if you can prove all three views of it with the bible, you are not being honest with the bible and or twisting it out of context..........peeved him right off hahahha oh well.....the truth is the truth
