I still struggle to fully accept women wearing tattoos. What a sexist I am! But I dont like them on men either.
As the young waitress brings me my coffee, I cant but notice the big tattoo on her forearm. Tatoos are getting bigger and more prominent. Its bold I guess. You know I think I prefer the subtle ones.
Just expressing my difficulty in adjusting to new trends. Tattoos used to have the outlaw criminal signature. It used to mean " Look out! I'm bad". Is that what young women want to say?

So Christians can wear a crucifix neckace for example. Should we as Christians be making a statement? Christian tattoos? Christian T-Shirts? Christian necklaces. I'm not sure thats a good idea.

One of my good friends has several tats, and she is a believer. She is highly artistic, and I believe it is one of her outlets for that. The perception of tats has definitely changed. It seems more rare not to have any than to have them.

Personally, I don't find tattoos attractive. But I would never tell someone that they shouldn't have tattoos. It's their body, not mine.

Yes. I teach at a Christian school. Public schools are a little less stringent depending on the administrator.

I don't like tattoos, and I can definitely say there are some that can be quite artistic looking. But it's permanent, and after a while it fades.

Cleverly stated, but elusiveness is a tad leaning - as the assessment re rarity is exactly what someone with a tat is inclined to say... haha...

Have u ever thought about the fact that sometimes people do things out of stupidity and then later wonder how they couldve done that
I dont like tats either. Still thst doesnt change the fact that my darling has one of his arms full and other small ones. Still i look through the shell. Many people come i to different scenes like bikers and stuff and then end up getting stuff. Or they go to parties and wake up with weird doodles
Maybe they were self destructive once and it was their way of calling for help.
Tats often express something that was going on inside them and didnt know how else to show.

I have three tattoos, and I love them all and don't regret them. They each have special meaning to me. They are in places most people don't see, unless it's summer and I'm wearing shorts and a tank top. Where I live, it's winter like 9 months out of the year, so again - most people don't see them. And even if they do, I fully understand that tattoos aren't for everyone, and not everyone likes them. But most people with tattoos don't get them for other people. It's a personal thing.

Singers/ celebs can have them to enhance their image. But tats in conservative jobs would be less desirable I imagine.

I like tattoos. I especially like it when there’s a story along with it. Tattoos with meaning.

If we are ever in question. There is a simple question we can ask ourselves. Does this action, inaction or choice glorify God? If yes then do it. If no then does it hurt God's image or just neutral? If it hurts the image then dont do it. If it is neutral then I suppose it is just a matter conscience.
