Lost my job tonight. However, it reaslly is not my fault since I have been discussing this with the saftey team for months and NOTHING gets done unless someone almost gets hurt.

I was getting the boxes down from the box shoot they got hung up. The stick I was given to use, got lodged in the belt. They had to shut the one box line down due to this.

However, I still haft to write a statement about it, even tho a supervisor did the same thing an she never got into trouble. However, please pray that I still have my job.

The general manager came in i knew he looked at me and hit desk with what it sounded like was paper on the side of the desk.

Kinda sad when one of his buddies do something like this even tho this was an accident he takes their side.

but he knows very well what i am about, i do not play very well with intemidation even after he jumped on me and demanded me to let this african girl run the line. i took vacation and he learned very well what she was about. She messed the WHOLE line up, but he still caters to him even when I do the job right, and she does it very wrong.

I get him over 800 cases a night to her 400, i do not throw boxes but she screams and throws boxes.

you really do obsess about your workplace and people there. it is something i used to do as well. I think it only makes it worse. reading your post triggered my own memories of people.
You either should get out of production line work or find a new patience threshold.

I understand your comments. I also respect them. I do understand as well.

There is just a whole lot that goes on that kills me at work.

One is where they hate me for being white but worse 3 quarters Native American.

I get told I am racist because I would rather them love than sell their drugs and kill each other with it. Happened recently as well.

I also eat gun threats a lot because they would rather kill someone for 100 bucks a day by selling drugs/

I also have a major problem because I am white I get treated very differently. The union does not take my issues seriously. Management does not want me to be promoted because of this.
I have another job lead imma look into but the worse part my girl works with me and since I work with 80% ex cons I hafta be there to protect her.

Idc about the gun things they say things just for talk and I walk in there head held high and I still report and write up safety violations in which my boss there has said he is pleased my name is still on the committee roster.

Its funny they say I am racist when I work in a dominant plant of one color and best friend is black.

I post here and my blog about it as a record and evidence for if anything does happen. Its not much an obsession it is more or less security for when or if I must take tyson foods to court

Sounds like it's a GOOD thing you lost your job. And working with such dangerous people and machinery, I hope God moves you on to something better and safer. :)

Speaking of Tyson, what do they do to their chicken, that ALWAYS makes it taste sponge-y?? Perdue doesn't taste like that. ;)

Ok i will play devils advocate.
Is there any guarantee you will be happy in your next workplace? you will find new nemeses. Thats what I found and learnt. There is no utopian workplace. just like there are no utopian internet forums. there will always be at least one enemy.

after a while you realise the details dont matter. anyone can annoy you. anyone can become your enemy. todays reverse racism is tomorrows new kid on the block harassment. theres more hate than love is the bottom line and you gotta be full of the Spirit to survive.

You are right. I'm trying to survive its just hard. I hope soon I can move on back home and away from this. And reasons why it taste spungy is cuz a lot of birds fall on the floor and replaced onto the lines without proper washing.

Many stay in the freezer for days before their cut and processed. Imagine a big metal block full of chicken with just ice on them.

Its nasty and many plants get sued over foreign materials such as chain gloves ect..

USDA is against tyson also.

I'm not scared of them by any means. My girl already stated she will persue courts if anything was to happen to me.

I'm still at Tyson but with my heart condition I get really bad off sometimes.

Dizzy and wobbly legged ect but they still demand me to be pushed just to get their money because their homies are tired.

I told my girl I'd rather her stay on the line so she can watch over me and me watch over her.


A dude I thaught was a friend tried to stab me in the back and get with her.

Blah I need to fallow up on this other job asap. Its just driving and delivering to stores no cdl needed.

Tell Tyson that Perdue is 100% better than them. Maybe that'll give them an incentive to clean up their act.. lol
