That is so true.

My native language is not English, and some people, when they hear a hint of an accent when I’m saying something, they start speaking either very slowly or very loudly.

Yea, I was going to say that it is true for multiple languages not just Spanish.

Now comes a better question. Which dialect of Spanish should we learn? Culo in Puerto Rico can mean buttox but in Mexico it also means rectum. This is confusing however it can also be insulting, embarrassing or hilarious depending upon the context and or the situation.

iVe been to the French Quarter, interesting place. I'm Canadian so I speak basic French, that was cool to be able to do in Louisiana
