We’re on the other side of the cross now. Remember, the word Gospel means good news.
Does not even matter....his use of Adam and EVE to peddle a losable salvation is laughable.......shows he has no concept of what actually took place in the garden and how that EVENT set in MOTION the redemption of man....Genesis 3:15 given to Adam and EVE was the first promise of a redeemer.....and by the HEBREW we can see that EVE believed that message as evidenced by what she said when Cain was born......of course the street organ player of Cainology will reject this truth

Tsunami, flood, fire, earthquake, birth defects, still births, cancer....?

Yes, those kind of things happen to Born Again Christians too. We know this is not a perfect world, but we are promised the PERFECT WORLD IS YET TO COME. So your wild theory that we can not have Joy in Adverse Circumstances, is BUSTED when one is BORN AGAIN.
Maybe it is time to fire Your teachers of the past.

Now, I don't know who this Pastor is for sure, But he has everything right in this 8.5 minute Video, as he explains:

What is the Secret of JOY in Suffering? John Stephen Piper is an American Reformed Baptist continuationist pastor and author who is the founder and leader of desiringGod.org and is the chancellor of Bethlehem College & Seminary in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Wikipedia

He is RIGHT ON, on this subject, of how to KEEP your Joy, while Suffering:

i dont believe that. i believe the truly saved with continue in the faith. so i dont care what they believe =)
You should tell them why you don't agree with their assertion that believers can become unbelievers and they will still be saved.

The Book of Hebrews affirms that it is impossible to depart and He promises to be faithful.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; Hebrews 10:23 NASB
Unbelief is departing.
Hebrews is telling these believers not to depart the living God because he is faithful (don't abandon such a perfect priest and ministry), but you are saying Hebrews is saying these believers can depart from the living God because he is faithful.

You continually confuse admonishment and exhortation as some threat of loss of salvation and it is not!!
Hebrews 3:12-14 KJV
12Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. 13But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end

What is it about "we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end" that you do not understand? You say they do NOT have to hold the beginning of their confidence steadfast to the end to be partakers of Christ.

And what was the "unbelief" being referenced here?
What is the context?

This is not blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
The believing being referenced here is the believing that makes you a part of the household of Christ. See vs. 6.

"...Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end." Hebrews 3:6 KJV

Rejecting the testimony of the Holy Spirit is calling the Holy Spirit a liar (1 John 5:10). That is what the Pharisees did when they blasphemed the Spirit. They called the Holy Spirit a lying spirit of the devil when God testified to them through Jesus "bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost"-Hebrews 2:4 KJV.

There is no forgiveness for that sin. You can't depart from the testimony of God into unbelief after being saved and still be saved thinking Christ's perfect ministry covers that. Jesus himself said that is not covered.

They don’t become unbelievers

Brother....they cannot grasp...If we believe not (after belief) HE ABIDES FAITHFUL BECAUSE HE CANNOT DENY HIMSELF....

Jesus said he finishes and completes the work of faith in us.....their view makes Christ an inept liar......end of story!

I know, it's weird.
Just believe that you do not have to believe. They're saying that's the believing that saves. o_O

There is your 3 warning. Now your go to my IGNORE LIST. I put Judges1318 on the IGNORE LIST and I suggest every one does the same. So that he can enjoy talking to himself.

Coming into this thread and reading the posts of the unregenerate who want to teach a losable salvation, reminds me of the discourse in Luke 7.

Luke 7:31-32
“To what then shall I compare the people of this generation, and what are they like? 32They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling to one another,

“‘We played the flute for you, and you did not dance;
we sang a dirge, and you did not weep.’

Those of us who have been saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, according to God's mercy, will never dance to their music.

You make a good point, but Jesus says all will experience doubt at one time or another, and He made no mention of any resulting repercussions. Since God is understanding of human doubt, I rest comfortably that His irrevocable grace is sufficient.
Doubt is not unbelief.

The faith that saves eternally is an event in time..
I think you mean justification is an event in time. It happens the moment you trust Jesus for the forgiveness of sin and does not need to be repeated, for indeed, it can't be repeated for the person who has lost it by returning to unbelief.

..but you cannot see that because having read your posts on other threads you teach that begging for forgiveness is the "gospel" ...... it is not.
I'm guessing you do not think asking for forgiveness is the gospel because you think that is somehow a work that earns salvation. So that can't be how you get saved. Am I right?
