how do we know we truly love?

Let those who love the LORD hate evil
(Psalm 97:10)
no one is good but God alone. if Jesus is good, Jesus is God. in the parable, if the Samaritan was good, He is Christ; Christ was teaching who He is and what He does. we may think we love, and be wrong about it. we may think we know love, yet not understand it. we don't know God until we know Christ: no one has seen God at any time; the Son of God, who is God manifest in the flesh, reveals Him. all judgement is committed to Him.

it isn't wrong for God to hate, Dibby. it isn't wrong for Him to punish the wicked. all of us are worthy of destruction; it is His glory that He shows anyone mercy, at all.
Not many realised that Jesus was speaking of Himself as the good Samaritain and that we fell among thives. The two coins are for two days at the in. "Today and tomorow I heal the sick and cast out devils and the Third day I shall be perfected."

I already voted my support for sound doctrine, their is no need for me to explain it any further.
You can’t even spell “there” correctly and yet you proclaim to know sound doctrine. Liberals vote for abortionists. To them that’s sound doctrine.

The blood of Jesus Christ has a different effect on those of us who are in "sound doctrine" than those who are not in "sound doctrine".
John 3:16 and Romans 10:9-10 have no variances from one believer to another.

Yes, but this guy thinks HE should be the one to determine what correct theology.
The only thing wrong with that is that I wasn't consulted first...

Apparently he doesn't know who I am...

if thinking you have nothing more to learn is bad, how much worse to know you do, and not even care? :(
I just had the realisation that your corect here. Pride of achievment is bad because its not reconising that its all His Grace to meet us in our need and nothing we achieved, and the Lord disciplined me sevetely. But the one who is lukewarm is in worse danger. The Lord told them, "I woud that you were hot or cold but because your lukewarm, I will spue you out of My mout, unles you repent."
Our love grows cold because our pride is ofended, but at least then we know we need His help to cange, but the luke warm feel nothing. And yes "A wise man acceps reprof and keeps learning."

The Lord showed this man that we dont have it (together): that we are not in the unity of the Spirit as we think, and that we need to come to Him to be healed: that we need to welcome the Lord in every area of our life. We think we arived when we think: I got being humble down, I got fasting down, I got walking with Him down, I got prayer down. But the Lord showed Him we dont have it. That we need to invite Him in every area of our heart to be healed.
This goes along with what the Lord told me and include here, when He told me: Your not ready.

Directions received in preparation for Journey:

"We will give ourselves to prayer."

Withhold nothing, take nothing, you have to be determined to succeed. Your prayer life must increase, content to participate in the mystery of God. Go, this is a time of prayer; it’s the only way you'll succeed. Keep yourself in the Love of God, don't give up: you’re not ready. Be still: know that I Am with you. "Wait on the Lord and He will strengthen your heart." Your prayer life has to extend in all areas of your life. What you do not realize is that the war is accomplished: it's not as simple as you getting the power, you have to Love the Truth. Give up your life, no more going back to idols.

Don't be afraid, above all surrender (give Him your fear). Don’t stay outside, don’t worry, Psalm 118. Be Faithful unto death. Seek Me more than your necessary food. Don’t fight against the Holy Ghost, give yourself to prayer. Give yourself to Him, you need to change, no longer desire earthly things, come and be reconciled. Make the most of your time, live in Prayer, don't want anything else. Don’t forget.

what about when Jesus said they had to eat His flesh & drink His blood or they could not be His disciples? ((John 6))
many people who had been following Him left at that point. was He kind of '
weeding people out' ? vv. 64-65 says He knew who did not truly believe ((duh, He's omniscient)), and would betray Him, and He says "this is why I told you no one can come to Me unless the Father has enabled them"
all those people leaving Him when He says the things in this chapter - i believe it certainly didn't surprise Him; more likely He intended it.
True enough, but he let true teaching weed them out. He didn't try to ferret them out and ridicule them. He taught a new fact, one which I think we miss in our "Lord's supper". He said unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood you may have no part of me, but we have removed this from the sacrament. We call it symbolism but Jesus didn't say symbolically eat and drink. Also when he broke the bread he gave thanks and said this "is" my body broken for you, take and eat. (Jesus is the bread of life).
He like wise said this is the new covenant in my blood, drink.
When we eat and drink yes it is bread and yes it is wine, but it is also what Jesus said it is. Once we give thanks for it and proclaim it as Jesus did. Just as he inhabits his praises, as he is his word he is the bread and the wine in the sacrament.

just me, but if I had any thoughts that I was an 'un-believer in Jesus Christ, and not 'correct' in
my 'calling' then I would definitely be an 'un-correct'-un-believer in anything concerning
my Holy Saviour...

John 14:12 King James Version (KJV)

12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Does there exist any Theologically Correct believers in Yeshua Messiah/Jesus Christ? To be Theologically Correct, the doctrine must be identical to that demonstrated by the Acts of the Apostles, with Yeshua Messiah/Jesus Christ being the Chief Conerstone.

The practices of the Original Church include:

1) Doing the Law of Moses.
2) Keeping the Sabbath.
3) Observing the Feast Days.
4) Doing Nazarite Vow.
5) Raising the dead.
6) Healing the sick.
7) Casting out devils.

Theology

As defined by Scholasticism, theology is constituted by a triple aspect: what is taught by God, teaches of God and leads to God (Latin: Theologia a Deo docetur, Deum docet, et ad Deum ducit).

How many times have you raised the dead, healed the sick and cast out devils? Be specific.

It is merciful for them to be weeded out now, before they die, while they still have a chance to become a correct believer in Jesus Christ.
I think it’s better to let the wheat and tares grow together, the weeding out comes later.

Actually, since you started this thread, the onus is on you to list everything which is considered sound doctrine BY YOU, and provide key verses to support that list. That will smoke out your stand on key issues.

We are not under the Old Testament law.
Acts 18:18 King James Version (KJV)

18 And Paul after this tarried there yet a good while, and then took his leave of the brethren, and sailed thence into Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila; having shorn his head in Cenchrea: for he had a vow.

Paul, who is the Apostle to the Gentiles, set forth an example by observing the Law of Moses and the things contained therein. This Apostle is a servant of Yeshua Messiah/Jesus Christ.
