Wow! Almost the exact same markings. No doubt my baby has Jack Russel in her. Thanks for sharing, Ruby. ❤️

Can you be more specific please ? :D
Mary-worship, infallibility of the Pope, purgatory, works salvation, transubstantiation, sacrament of the sick, the Bible is not their final authority, calling priests father, viewing non-Catholics as misguided brethren ... oh yeah, I want to sleep with that every night!

The Bible does say there must be heresies or private interpretations as personal commentaries amongst us. It then informs us. Just what is damnable or something we can judge.

1 Corinthians 11:18-20 King James Version (KJV) For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it. For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you. When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper

It would seem that as long as a tradition did not do despite to the grace of God it would not be considered damnable.

It is the key to understanding that Catholicism is a dark place. They take the fulness of Christ labor or love and apply it to the queen of heaven .All other receive a unknown remnant ,that must be finished in a unknown place called purgatory for another unknow time period. Therefore doing despite to the same grace by which all Christians enter the new born again order. The Old testament fathers as a law of men followed the same pattern, same spirit of error . . . different name for the same queen .

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Teaching the existence of purgatory and the need for the sacrament of the sick is a deliberate attempt to undermine the fullness of God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

Assuming most of you are non Catholic. And would I marry a non Catholic?
Well Im married to a non Christian now.
If you dont mind Im going to use the word Protestant in this thread.
I would marry a Protestant. But I would be concerned about a few things:
if they were too zealous (not jealous)
they would need a sense of humour about all theologies and themselves
I would have to be free to be Catholic but would be happy of course to visit their Church
I was a Catholic, and I married a Catholic.

Neither of us are Catholic now. Case closed!

No those who car Protestant and are not Christians they have a religious affiliation but no surrender to the Lord Jesus. and I know Catholics who are saved because they know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. I think the better question is would you marry a non-believer?

We could have had a catholic wedding, but I refused to say the things the priest was going to have my say. One thing I remember was, “I promise to raise my children in the holy Catholic Church.” Wrong, ain’t going to happen. My wife at the time was already enjoying going to the baptist church with me.

Plus, my knees couldn’t handle being catholic.😀
I'll take "Genuflect, not a chance! for 20 arthritis points Alex! I hear ya.
I remained seated when I attended the one and only Catholic mass with hubby when he was still my finance.
I learned a lot though listening to the congregational response to the priest giving the homily.
Mainly, thank you God for not letting me be born into the RCC. It's incredibly pagan in tradition and is as many have said, a platform for the continuation of the office of Caesar and the Roman Senate. All of whom in their day generations ago thought Rome would rule the world for all time. And through the RCC, found a way to do that given the RCC congregation world wide is the most populace and powerful church in the world. As well as is one of the, if not the, smallest states (Vatican City) in the world, ruled by a dictator who oversees the largest number of "citizens" (of the church) on earth.
Rome, got its wish.
Caligula is still spinning knowing that one. Little cinders exploding all around him due to those RPM's achieved in his rapid rotation of shock. :p Serves him right.

Theres a genuine level of animosity towards Catholicism thats not reciprocated. Catholics can laugh at the Pope and themselves. We werent offended by Life of Brian. All of my married Catholic brothers married Protestants in a Catholic Church. We do all belong to the human race after all.
