Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Confess Jesus is Lord and believe God raised Him from the dead = thou shalt be saved.

Romans 1:4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

Philippians 2:8-9 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name

The Lord Jesus Christ humbled Himself even to the point of death on the cross. The cross represents the humility of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The resurrection declares the Lord Jesus Christ to be the Son of God with power.

Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

The Lord Jesus Christ despised the shame of the cross.

Both the cross and the empty tomb are a part of the Gospel and Christ's finished work of redemption. No one should pit one against the other.

The cross shows the redemption provided by God. The resurrection is the testimony of God that eternal life comes through grace by faith. The blood is the ransom for sin, the resurrection is the promise of eternal life by grace through faith.

Agreed; unfortunately, MoTC is blinded by the heterodox teachings of Jimmy Swaggart, who has made an idol of the cross and corrupted the gospel.

Is Redemption Centered Up In The Cross Of Christ Or The Resurrection Of Christ?
In my early Christian days movies, and media were very popular but the pastors warned us not to trust or to watch, (if we could help it) any crucifixion stories, without the resurrection in it. Not giving equal attention to the resurrection is a trick of the Devil. Without the resurrection how did the Lord prove he had the power over sin and death? There were 1000's of crucifixion's. Only resurrection. Such stories are near blasphemous. And don't pray to crosses either, that is idolatry.

The cross is not the issue ... the Center of redemption is Who hung on the cross.

A lot of people did. Who came out of the tomb?
I do not come to the cross as Christ did. He is the one Who suffered ... the Just (Messiah) for the unjust (mankind). And, yes, He came out!!! Praise God for the exceeding riches of His grace toward us!!!

My thought is that redemption came once Jesus said “It is finished” and the vail that separated the Most Holy and the Holy of Holy’s in the Temple tore in two.

Please post the scripture(s) that says that the Blood of Jesus and the Resurrection atone for sin.

The resurrection does not atone for sin but CONFIRMS that the atonement for sin was PERFECT and FINISHED. Now there is no more sacrifice for sin, and that is why sinners can be justified by grace through faith. Please note the following passage from Romans 4 carefully:

23 Now it was not written for his [Abraham's] sake alone, that it was imputed to him; 24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on Him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; 25 Who was delivered for our offences [THE CRUCIFIXION] , and was raised again [THE RESURRECTION] for our justification.

It was not enough that Christ die for our sins according to the Scriptures. It was also necessary that He rise again the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Cor 15:1-3).

Now that you believe truth, don't let Satan steal this from you.

As we have stated, while the Resurrection, and the Ascension, and the Exaltation of Christ were of extreme significance, these three tremendous attributes were the result of the Atonement, i.e., “the Cross,” instead of the cause.
