It does not get any plainer..........Our righteous works have ZERO to do with Salvation!
New American Standard Bible
He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
The Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant of love with all who love Him and obey His commands, chose us to be born of water and the Spirit, and thus, enter His Kingdom. We had to be born again. (Dan.9:4, Jn.3:5,7)

The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with all of us who have been born of the Spirit. (Jn.3:8) The Headship of Jesus Christ over us today is made effective through the Holy Spirit. We diligently hearken unto His voice to observe and do all that He commands us this day all these blessings come upon us and overtake us (Dt.28). Yes, today we choose Him. We choose life, not death. Blessing, not cursing.

We choose life, so that we and our children may live and that we may love the Lord our God, listen to His voice, and hold fast to Him, Dt.30:19,20. That's what the life of faith is. For the Lord is our life! Amen, He certainly is. We address as the Father the one who impartiallly judges according to each one's work, so we conduct ourselves in fear today due to the extremely high price paid for us: the blood of the only begotten of the Father, 1 Peter1:17-19.

Another of the myriad ways that the Lord God has of putting it is this, as recorded in Jn10:27-29: v.27 My sheep hear My voice; I know them, and they follow Me. v.28 I give then eternal life; and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of My hand. v. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; no one can snatch then out of My Father's hand.

Here is a stronghold that needs demolishing in the hearts and minds of millions of religious people: We cannot have John 10:28 & 29 without John 10:27. It's an illegal claim. If we want Him as Savior we have to have Him as Lord. I bypassed verse 27 all my life in reality. As a respectable Christian I would have told you I did it but I really didn't know what it meant. I had NOT, in reality, returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of my soul. I held on to it. My life was my own. I was not yet, in reality, crucified with Christ. I did MY will. I wasn't in the Kingdom of God. I was in religion. As for sin? I liked it. The other god I had before Him, was me, just like everyone else in the pew. Our tongues laid hold of heaven, though, like our father the devil.

Jesus is spoken of as "Savior" 24 or 28 times in the New Testament, depending on translation. He is spoken of as "Lord" 300 times. There's a pretty good read on the Divine perspective of the matter. By my math, for every time Jesus is spoken of as "Savior" He is spoken of as "Lord" about 12 times. Contrast that with fallen, religious minds. Growing up in church, I would have taken Him as Savior a thousand times, and Lord, maybe twice? And I was a "good", young man. I mean, really good by the standards of my Christian brothers and sisters.

Jesus Christ is King today for His Kingdom citizens. We worship Him in spirit and in Truth today. We hear His voice and we cannot afford to harden our hearts as Israel did and their bodies were laid waste in the wilderness. All that happened to them is a VERY real warning to us, 1 Cor.10. That's why the 2nd (of 5) parenthetical warning from Hebrews, warnings to Spirit baptized believers, is so important to us all. Hebrews 3:7-4:13.

4:11 "Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience." That had no bearing on my Christianity growing up, just as it has no bearing for many of you. I was still in darkness, though I had "accepted Jesus in my heart." (Where is that in the Bible again?)

He who has ears to hear, let him hear today. Glory to God. Learn to live this way: Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. We're all born fallen and having fallen short of His glory. Jesus came to turn all that around so that all things no longer had to be "vanity of vanities" for us. So that we could live from above the sun and mount up with wings as eagles! O, how the world needs to see this! The manifestation of the sons of God. The distinction between the righteous and the wicked; between those who serve God and those who don't, Malachi 3:18.

Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong; let him who is vile continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do right; and let him who is holy continue to be holy. Rev.22:11

Read the last 2 chapters of the Bible. It's all about conduct. Jesus came to reform our conduct, to purify our hearts, baptize us with His Spirit so that we could do the will of God today, instead of the will of Satan that we were all born doing. If we've been made righteous, we do what is right. We obey Scripture. We live in the Holy Spirit. Read the whole Bible, it's all about conduct. True salvation is so radical. The ax gets laid to the root of the tree.

Most Christians don't want to hear the Good News of the Kingdom of God. But they say they believe the Gospel. I will not sit in the seat of mockers.

big words

Lord hears my prayers He has answered many times. i like it how you assumed because someone believe in eternal security that now it means they dont want to be with Jesus and only want selfish to go to heaven and they are not righteous and dont fear God? hmm
Big words indeed.

"Everyone who sins is a slave of sin and a slave does not have a permanent place in the household, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." ~ Jesus

Actually, the passage says perseverance (and character) comes through suffering.

"suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." - Romans 5:3,4

Lots of Christians think they can skip right to the 'hope' part. I don't like suffering any more than the next guy, and I do everything I can that isn't a sin to avoid it, but the stark truth is if your Christianity is not bringing suffering into your life that changes you, then you have no hope. You most likely have been short circuiting the process with sin.

"21 Beware of turning to evil, which you seem to prefer to affliction." - Job 36:21

This is probably one of the hardest lessons in Christianity. We've been called to forsake, through faith in Christ, the personal comfort of sin in order to live out the righteousness God has given us. But we've made that truth about Christianity go away with misguided and devilish doctrines that dismiss that responsibility and which, in the end leave us in our old, faithless lives, unchanged, but now without the warning bell of the conviction of our wrongdoing. Because, to think that we have that responsibility would make salvation by works, and besides, you've been picked to be a saved person anyway, and there's nothing you or the devil can do about it.

Tell me we're not in the end times.
What I said was that patience and perserverance and character are produced by abiding in Him, even in suffering.

...and sin is not comfortable for me. My new nature is such that I cannot be comfortable in sin. And righteousness is something I desire and seek. Because of the new nature, that is a gift of God.

Why do you assume we are unchanged? I tell my wife, who didn't know me when I was unsaved, about the things I used to do and the man I used to be, and she says she can't even imagine me like that.

In Red Above. Awesome.

Reminds me of Romans 10v9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Lord means Master. It is the relative relationship we have with Him. We are Slaves to Righteousness.
Romans 6v18 And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.

Yes Jesus said in Luke 6v46 “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?

We have many in church which confesses Christ with their mouths but their hearts are far from Him.

Matthew 15v8
8 ‘These people [c]draw near to Me with their mouth,
And honor Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me.

Titus 1
16 They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being [d]abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.

>and what do we see happening today. Everyone arguing against works. And overlooking disobedience.

Precious child of the Father.

Know this one thing and always remember this.

Our Father in heaven loves you as much as he loves Jesus.
This love is an Agape love.
It's that love that hung on the cross for you.
It's that love that was willing to take our punishment upon him.
It's that love sought you out and drew towards him.
It's that love that has adopted you as his child.

You are saved by that love as a result of faith in Jesus.
That is the only thing that saves you.

Now you love because he first loved you.
It's that love we aspire to walk in.

Saved by faith unto good works.
Works of love but not for salvation.

John 17:23
23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
doesnt work for me. Maybe I am very lost despite great miracles done by the Lord in my life.
i would specifically like you to pray to God asking Him for my death to happen soon. To give me a pulmonary disease and let me die asap. I would very much appreciate. I am serious. I need your prayers for this one reason very much because no one is ready to say an amen when I pray that prayer. Trust me I am a hopeless lost cause. I don't want to continue this life. If you just say an amen to this prayer of mine "Lord, let me just disappear or let me never have existed and let me die soon"...i will be grateful because when 2 or more ask for anything in Jesus name , it is done.

Melachsy,

Titus 1
15 To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.

Who is it who becomes defiled? Well what does the word DEFILED mean?
Strongs G3392
Strong's Number: G3392

Greek Base Word: μιαίνω

Usage: Defile

Definition: To sully or taint, i.e., contaminate (ceremonially or morally).

Detailed definition:

  1. To dye with another color, to stain.
  2. To defile, pollute, sully, contaminate, soil.
    1. To defile with sins.
Even in the English language dictionary, the term means the following:

defile
[dɪˈfʌɪl]

VERB
defiled (past tense) · defiled (past participle)

  1. damage the purity or appearance of; mar or spoil.
"the land was defiled by a previous owner"
    synonyms:
    spoil · sully · mar · impair · debase · degrade · pollute · poison · corrupt · taint · tarnish · infect · foul · befoul · dirty · soil · stain · destroy · ruin

So in essence for something to become polluted or contaminated, it had to first be pure. Those who BECOME defiled are those in the church who through continuation in their sins BECOME defiled.

It is those mentioned in Revelation 3 as well.

Here I will post it again.

4 [c]You have a few names [d]even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. 5 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

Actually I'm not going to pray that God kills you as you ask.
In fact the opposite.

When you wake up every day rather then lament that you have woken up ask God why he has given you another day.

There is a reason, you need to ask why.

Even Jesus did not want to die. But he knew he had to.
He rose again.

So when you rise in the morning there is a purpose.

Also when you say that when 2 or more ask for in Jesus name you have misunderstood what Jesus was saying.

You are alive for a purpose and it's not to wake up to die.

Why focus in pulmonary disease?
What miracles?

Amen! CONTEXT. ;)
So lets look at those referred to:

10 For there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, 11 whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole households, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain. 12 One of them, a prophet of their own, said, “Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.” 13 This testimony is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith,

- insubordinate to whom? clearly the passage talks of those IN the Church, who rail against overseers and church leadership.
-rebuke them sharply that they may be sound in the faith. Once again, another proof text that these are found IN the Church. Not outsiders.

So if they are IN the church. And these have BECOME DEFILED, then these were at some point made pure (when they originally accepted Christ) before they fell into their wayward disobedience, which defiled them.

I'm off for Christmas dinner, will respond upon return. Hope you are having a wonderful Christmas with family and/or friends.
