Dear, I will keep you in prayer that the Lord gives you direction in everything and removes that fear, anxiety and confusion and gives you direction in every way & make you bold as a Lion! May the Lord bless your mind and ears and eyes to see how the Lord wants you to see & hear. There is nothing to difficult for God! These trials will only help you get stronger and able to be use in the things of God! Out of whatever the Lord pulls you out of, that he will use you to minister to others in the same way. I had to come to the end of myself when the Lord rescue me out of this pit of Hell! 'Wherefore I say unto you, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.' Luke 7:47 God bless you richly Kojikun
Thank you I had a discussion with friend a bit ago (she is not a believer but I think some progress is happening) I was just uncomfortable with something's however they are things I still struggle with I wanted to drop a hint without the pot calling the kettle so to speak

Believers need to stop saying, 'my fear, my pain, my this or that' I was in a grocery line and this individual I was talking to kept saying, 'My pain & my arthritis'. They make all these ills or sickness personal and they own it. After all, is this not what the enemy wants? The doctor will ask the patient, 'how is your pain?' Why can he not say, 'How is the pain increasing or other rephrased words. When we speak we just say this pain or this arthritis & on and on....
I think people start to feel they are defined by there maladies. Its difficult to describe myself without mention my autism or extremely anxious nature.

I guess it doesn't matter apparently I'm going to hell regardless 😔🤷‍♂️
No beloved, you’re not going to hell. If you place your faith in Jesus then you have salvation. You will make mistakes throughout life just like everyone else does, the difference between you and nonbelievers is that God’s grace is upon you. Rejoice and be glad.

I understand but this is what the enemy wants. 'My autism?' ... The Lord heal me years ago of one demonic illness,
schizophrenia. Continue praying that Lord delivers you out of Autism. The world tells you, you cannot be heal or it is impossible. But what does the Lord tell you in His Holy Word; 'Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?'
(Jeremiah 32:27).

'You shall not respect persons in judgment; but you shall hear the small as well as the great; you shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God’s ' Deut 1:17
'These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment. ' Prov 24:23

When the believer knows the Word and avoids in telling some one the truth because of fear, the Lord does not take this lightly. If the Lord moves you to rebuke or warn a believer, it must be done. In Revelation 21:8 tells us;
'But the FEARFUl, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burne with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. '

If you see your neighbors house burning, I do not believe I would just stand and say, 'O well, I do not want to bother them, or it is not my business' and avoid at all cost; that is the same way with a sinner when individuals will avoid due to fear or 'he/she is going to curse me out or they will get angry'..etc. No excuse, especially if the individual is an elder in the ways of the Lord, they should know better. Not all individuals are given this gift in ministering this way. Some will just pray for them if they feel unsure. But to avoid just because of fear is very dangerous. That is why the Lord tells you in Scripture, Count the Cost when you come to follow Jesus.
If I can't in person is prayer sufficient?

Just remember when there is a struggle in the flesh or anything that happens in life that the we go through trials or tribulations, to please the Lord and live righteously, there is a blessing right behind afterwards...

Something I am struggling with Is telling other people about God. I have low self esteem so having people hate me is a tough pill to swallow.
Please know that it is not us who does the converting. No one can see the truth unless the Holy Spirit opens the eyes of the heart. That means that your responsibility is to be responsive when you are prodded by God. This is one of those "lean not on your own understanding" moments. He will prompt you and he will give you the words. Sometimes it seems like the perfect opportunity but you can tell, as soon as you start to speak, that you are going on your own power. It will feel like sawdust in your mouth. There will be no connection.
One of my favourite stories is about a woman who spent most of her life sharing her faith. She said in that whole time only one person accepted Jesus as his lord and saviour. That was her son Billy Graham. Well done mom.
She didn't do anything wrong. God used her as he needed her to serve. Do not be afraid that you are missing what God would have you do. He will let you know. He is not a jerk. Sometimes when people talk about Him I wonder if they even like Him. He loves you. He is not looking to trip you up. Trust him.

Sure. The Lord knows your heart and He knows all of us that void in the heart that no one can filled except the Lord! He knows before we even ask, He knows! What a powerful God we serve! That He is beyond all planets, beyond the stars, you name it and so small He abides in us!

This Chat area is like a maze. I go up to the bell up on the corner and chasing the msg to see which one it is. Plus it has four pages. I was going on the other subjects but it seems like you have to go through all these msgs to get to your answer. O well, I will figure it out eventually ....

Believe me, we all have them in one way or another!

And never forget when you go to the Throne of God, make sure you repent of any wrong doing, every day. Just take your burdens to Jesus and just pour out your heart to Him! He is the best Friend, our everything! God bless richly!

I think the best comeback to only God can judge me, might be to ask the person what they think God thinks of what they're doing. And if they answer inconsistent with the character of God, then you can ask them what they're basing their thoughts on. You'll probably bring them up short pretty quick because most people when they say only God can judge me seem to mean something more along the lines of I don't have to answer to anyone for my behavior.

Or probably they only see what they want to see about God. Someone who is full of grace and mercy, someone they can abuse. They forgot that God is also a holy God and if you sin against an eternal and holy God, the punishment is also eternal. They are in denial and believe that God is too merciful and not harsh enough to let them perish. They forgot about the God in the OT who is capable of genocide in a blink of an eye. He is still the same God, just dormant for now, holding back His righteous wrath until the last day.

NA's Just For Today (posted in Bob's CRA thread) talks about how prayer needs to be joined with action. Do you read the posts there on any kind of regular basis? They are from daily devotionals and recovery-oriented materials you may find quite helpful. I know I do, and so does Bob. We especially appreciate the resource we found in Partners in Hope, for it uses Scripture along with a deep understanding of our dysfunctions as human beings. Don't forget that God works through our weaknesses, also :)

The one that I post less frequently with Usually a few Bible verses or one of Magentas lovely panels as well as the Authors name or names in the bottom right . Is done speech to text from a Zondervan 12 step recovery NIV Bible that I picked up a couple of months ago just to use there. I already had an NIV but I bought a new one because it has cross references to the steps. They can and have be applied to many psycho/social, OCD/addictive and or mood disorders. By thousands perhaps millions of people. I have 2 columns of programs listed in small print in my Bible alone. It works if you work it. it's not magic. Honesty, Open mindedness and willingness are required. Then faith will follow. The idea is that Jesus is the rock and we Christians need to build upon the rock to recover. The AA mantra; " Half measures avail us nothing" indicates to me in order to start building on solid foundation, we must start with the Lord ans seek his Good Orderly Directions as the best way to start and keep a new life. Have a nice day and get a dose of serenity at CRA on the Miscellaneous forum. Here's a link to make it easier. https://christianchat.com/threads/cra-christians-in-recovery-anonymous.184102/post-4118206

My mom said the other day I've become more judgmental when I became christian. Unfortunately I get no good answers from Christian's. Either they say do not judge or they sa actually it says we can judge when the plank is out of our eye. Should I be arrogant enough to think I can see clearly? Either way the change I thought happened seems to be a lie.
If you DIDN'T see your faults more clearly after starting to follow Christ... THEN I would begin to worry. See what you see, and then just thank Jesus for covering it all for you.

@BrotherMike, I neglected to say hello to you. Forgive me. Greetings! 🙂 I hope you have a fabulous New Year.
No need to apologize :) Happy New Year to you too!

"18 When I say to the wicked, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn him or speak out to warn the wicked from his wicked way that he may live, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. 19 Yet if you have warned the wicked and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered yourself."
Ezekiel 3:18-19 NASB
Thank you for this! I did not know this was in the Bible, or I might have forgotten :) This just reconfirms we need to keep on studying the Bible so it's fresh in our minds. Wow... it makes me reflect on situations in my life where I did not speak up. Coming from an introvert probably more times than not. I do have friends that we don't talk about politics or religion because we both disagree. One I've known since second grade. I know God put him in my life for a reason. I know he doesn't want to hear it so I don't speak it. It makes me think will I be accountable for his actions... just a powerful verse. Being a Christian is not easy! It doesn't ever change my faith and I know he did all the work on the cross for us. I need His grace daily.

I haven't read all the replies yet, but wanted to chime in a little before I do...

One of my favorite verses is pride comes before the fall, but humility is the wisdom of God. When I see others, I try to focus on grace and compassion when the situation arrises instead of judging. I'm not perfect though, but that's my hearts desire. Gossiping is one of my pet-peeves because it belittles character that God created. I know that's different than judging, but they have some similarities. Trying to focus on how God sees people is where we need to be :)
