Hi! I'm Emmy, I'll be 22 in February. I grew up an atheist but have recently found God and I'm so thrilled to find a community where I can learn more and be active in my faith as those in my life aren't exactly supportive of my relationship with the Lord. I'm attending my first church service a week from the day I'm making this post and I'm so excited!

Aside from all that, I enjoy writing, reading, baking, knitting, painting, and gardening. I'm currently living in Arizona, but I'd like to move to another state one day. I have 3 cats, a bunny, and two geckos and they're the loves of my life. I'm a super friendly person and would love to make friends with people of all kinds who love Christ like I do :)

You sound very friendly and inspiring. I'm glad to hear that you have accepted God into your life, and to not allow others to influence you out of it shows your true compassion for the Lord.

I love to write too, and im a very avid reader. I like to sing, although I don't consider this my strongest point. :)

I also live in Arizona, Lake Havasu City. Praise God that you went from being Atheist to a believer in Christ. You passed over from eternal condemnation to eternal life. I moved from Southern California 14 years ago. I noticed that you said you'd like to move to another state. Arizona too hot for ya? I love the desert. It's why I moved out to Arizona. I lived in Ahwatukee which is a township of Phoenix, then in 2018 I moved to Lake Havasu.

Hi, Emmy! Glad to have you. 🙂 I hope you find CC to be an encouraging and edifying asset in your walk with God.

I think it's just wonderful when people find God; and I like to hear people's stories of how they came to faith. How did God grasp your heart? I was saved and baptized at a young age, so my story isn't dramatic. But the grace of God is incredible no matter how, when, or where someone comes to Christ!! ❤️

The longer, I serve the Lord the more significant the above scripture is to my life. From the beginning I would say this, Trust God more fully.

There will be tight days ahead, Satan will go to God with accusations about you. But God has made a shield of protection around you. And God won't allow a test, in your life that you won't be able to bear.

It doesn't mean you accepted Christ and everything will be perfect from now on, but the only difference is that you have God to lean.
