Perhaps you’re not getting the spiritual food you need. Is the preaching soft?
One time when I preached the pastor told me that I have to dumb it down a little bit because some of the people did not know the meaning of the some of the words that I used.

Sounds like the Shepherd had little faith in his flock. Unfortunately all that does is provide a disservice to the congregation.

I agree. I think it's best to challenge. If they have to go home and look some stuff up they will more likely remember it.

When I began 25 years ago I was reading 8 hours a day...i later went to 16...sometimes not even sleeping and I evangelized right from the start and God let people get saved

If you read the Bible 80 hours a week and you live all day and night for God to obey all you read He promises to give more...and so it was

45 min sermons are not but milk to 80 hours a week in the Word and commentaries....i found most preaching to be weak and simple and not always correct

But after decades of it...45 min building religion is not like what I have with God....and having people over and reading for an hour you can read Gal and Eph. But in church 45 min is a few verses...i just got so familiar with all 66 books I just knew the whole thing after 15 years...so no 45 min of one man works right...we went to school 40 hours and had homework...but God gets 45 min one day a week in a ceremony that is repeated over and over...

My point is the pastors I train them now and most will say they really did not know the Bible right till they read one book at a time and out lots of hours in...and prayed and did...and then most all stop and just later don't give the Bible much time...and just teach what their church believes...so really the truth is lost today

Of you have studied as you claim, why don't you understand that Jesus, said that John the Baptist was the Elijah that they were expecting? That is written in scripture.

He was the Elijah of the first coming...but not the second coming...and you have the 2 witnesses too that are like Elijah and Moses...they are the anointed ones that stand before God

Show that in scripture

Read Mal 4 5 to 6

Behold I send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day....etc...

Before the trib...John did not fulfill all of it...so another man in the spirit and power of Elijah must come...and John did not restore all things..the future Elijah does...you can Google it and study it..there is a fair amount of info on it

That great and dreadful day of the Lord is when Jesus came and was crucified, and salvation came to all who would believe on him.

Read the full context of Malachi which include verse 6

“Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord . He will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, so that I will not come and smite the land with a curse.”
Malachi 4:5‭-‬6 NASB

John preached repentance and the coming of the Lord and baptized many
Fulfilling this completely.

I don't think you are qualified to train any pastors. Your understanding of scripture is so off. I don't know how you can study as much as you claim, nor do I know how you can study this much and be so far off.
