Real science will always catch up with and agree with the Bible.
"All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings the particle of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar system of the atom together. We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind. This mind is the matrix of all matter."
- Max Plank (founder of quantum theory)

For starters, I believe in Eternal Security.
Every true believer is eternally secure in Christ.
(That's why you should continue to abide in Him.)

I reject any doctrine that says every true believer without exception will continue to believe and that it's impossible for them to go back to unbelief. The Galatians prove that simply is not true.

Well shame on you!

I say a true believer, particularly weak ones, can stop trusting in Christ for justification, and that you can't have justification in Christ if you're not trusting in God for that justification. And I will depart from that belief when someone can prove that every and all true believers can never stop believing/trusting in Christ for justification.

I'm not stopping anyone from believing anything they want to believe.
I know that there are those who simply won't change what they believe no matter how much proof you show them to the contrary.
(Yes, yes, I know.........I'm one of them, lol).
But I also know there are those who will. Now I am one of those.
I have changed what I believe over the years by what people have shown me.

I'm happy for you.
Some of us aren't so blessed to be able to say they have a church they love.
I admit I haven't visited all of the churches in my area, but I don't think there are any good churches here in Tuscarora, Nevada.
No you don't....you believe is a self sustained salvation that the bible does not teach ....quit lying about what you really believe.....wr have all read what you say and you deny eternal security by interjecting a self sustained faith......You are very, very deceptive and you remind me of the deception in the garden by the snake!!! Very subtle and very deceptive

I believe instead of dumping trillions into exploring space (which is outside our dominion), we should explore our own planet, mainly the depths of the oceans which are virtually unexplored. Many things of God’s word would be revealed.

So the true Word of God says we have eternal life , but your doctrine says we do not not  ...
Thank God His Word is the truth , and we know for sure we have eternal life , as Jesus said we are already clean by His Word that He has spoken...
Amen Rose....glad you see through his religious smoke screen.....he absolutely, by dogma opposes the truth and absolutely peddles a self sustained false salvation!

And thousands of cities and technology from before the flood ;)

we know less about the bottom of the sea than we know about the surface of the moon, it's true.
an both are God's handiwork -- isn't it amazing how it was more feasible for humankind to explore the one, 3 days away at over 20,000 mph, an airless satellite of the earth, than it is to reach the bottom of the sea? and where did He say He cast our sin? :)

God is great! it is 'plainly seen' by what He made!

Amen. What happened in Genesis 11 when man tried to reach heaven and make a name for himself?

Yes, I suppose so.
But we have to have faith, too.
Abraham was justified through his faith, and so are we.
Abraham was made righteous through believing (Genesis 15), but his justification came in chapter 22 through his obedience.

False.......Abraham was justified by faith according to Paul.....and without the deeds/works of the law.....

of course it does. that is exactly what 1 John 2:19 is addressing. those who are revealed in time to have fallen away are those who are revealed in time to have been borne with great patience but who were never among those given to the Son by the Father. no one can snatch out of His hand; not the Father's hand, not the Son's hand.
The Galatians really were saved, and they fell away. I thought osas doctrine (the traditional one, not the new one) says if someone falls away they were never.

'Made righteous' means 'justified'.

Abraham was 'made righteous' (justified) when he believed God in Genesis 15:6.
Abraham was 'shown to be righteous' (also called 'justified') when he offered up Isaac on the altar in Genesis 22:10.
A man is justified, both, by faith apart from works, and by works.

"24 You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone." - James 2:24

Lol, 11th hour red x'd this before it was even done posting.
Your contention is with the Bible, not me.
But feel free to show us James is wrong.

I am thinking this what happens when one does not see the different usage of the word justified,

One being eternal from God through faith, and the other use of the word justified before men.

Only one use of justification, and that’s before God. Why be justified in man’s eyes? I do one good work and man justifies me? Who cares? I care about what God thinks.
