Hey. I’m from Logan, Queensland Australia. I grew up in Brisbane which is a little further up the coast. I travel 40 minutes to attend the Baptist church I grew up attending because I love it there. They are family.

I’m married but I don’t really have many friends. I’d love to be able to chat to some likeminded people who aren’t judgemental. I love to talk about life, and use my own life experience to encourage others.
I guess in a nutshell, my life is complicated and I need more love.

There are many peeps from Australia on this site so you should feel right at home. I am sure that there will be ample opportunity to chat with like-minded people here. Encouraging others is what happens here, especially from one's life experiences and observations. Regarding love, please remember that God is Love. Glad to have you as part of our family. Hello Liss, we are really glad that you have joined us here at Christian Chat. You are not far from the "Gold Coast" of Australia. I have visited the Gold Coast several times but never found any gold. But I found something better than gold...Aussies! They are really nice people.

There are also many nice and very interesting people here at CC. Look through the forums for a thread that interests you and then join in on the conversation or start your own thread asking a question. We learn so much from one another.

Thanks be to God my area was spared.. But we did have a few weeks of very smokey conditions.. Which was not good for ones lungs / health.. with the recent good rains the area is now out of drought. Greenest i have seen it here for about 5 years.. :)

Welcome and dive on in. There are a lot of great people on this site. As you read through some of the posts you will find the ones who feel like old friends. There are so many personalities here and I can honestly say that I've been encouraged and blessed by the good hearted people on C.C. Like any place there are people having good and bad days but know that you are welcome. I hope you can experience moments of unexpected joy and peace, also shenanigans. Laughter is also big!
