Lol ok .... I'm the one who's ranting.🙄

Back to work.

You are wrong though.
"You're wrong though." LOL!!

Wrong about what exactly?

Bro, you're so angry you cannot allow yourself to admit your foolish error and tirade was off track. That is called dishonesty. Grow up, child.

His works of self-righteousness are but filthy rags to God. The difference between his statement and mine is that mine comes straight from Scripture.
His come right from the pharisee creed, “thank God I am not like the sinner”

Remember here where you did the same thing? I simply mentioned some approach the bible with a more fine comb the first time around and not to feel rushed to "finish" but to just put in the time....

You show your character time and time again.

You falsely accuse ME (or anyone really) of strawmen or being angry anytime someone disagrees with you.

I really am not angry

I am just shocked someone I used to respect so much is constantly bitter and falsely accusing others and agreeing with people who are siding with a legitimate works salvationist and miss-using verses...

It is sad and disappointing to say the least.

You can keep rambling on and on.. I should've known that you on that horse can't be quoted without screaming false accusations and strawmen...

Did you get your last word in, child? If not, go ahead and get it in.

Works are evidence of conversion. And conversion is by God‘s grace.

You are DEAD WRONG! Striving to Obey is evidence that YOU AGAPE LOVE HIM.

IT SAYS SO!

John 14:15 (HCSB)
15 If you love Me, you will keep My commands.

1 John 5:3 (HCSB)
3 For this is what love for God is: to keep His commands.
Now His commands are not a burden, [Only when done out of Agape Love is it NOT A BURDEN.]

THESE DID LOTS OF WORKS, and HE REJECTED THEM.

Matthew 7:20-23 (HCSB)
20 So you’ll recognize them by their fruit.
21 Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but ⌊only⌋ the one who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22 On that day many will say to Me, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in Your name, drive out demons in Your name, and do many miracles in Your name?’
23 Then I will announce to them, I never knew you! [Which is a reference to not being Born Again]
Depart from Me, you lawbreakers!’ [No Forgiveness, SO they are Judged by their DEEDS!]

James 2:10 (NIV)
10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.

Ecclesiastes 7:20 (NKJV)
20 For there is not a just man on earth who does good And does not sin.

Yup. God doesn't need evidence.

Our proof is Gods works in us. (we are a new creature with new desires)

And only before (another) man can works be seen as evidence (and never proof)

God doesn't need evidence.

He knows who is His.
YOU need to know that you belong to Him.
There are things that accompany salvation that signify that you have a saving relationship with God:

"9But, beloved, we are convinced of better things concerning you, and things that accompany salvation, though we are speaking in this way. 10For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, in having ministered and in still ministering to the saints. 11And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence so as to realize the full assurance of hope until the end, 12so that you will not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises." - Hebrews 6:9-12

If you have those things, and are continuing in those things, then you know that you belong to Him.
If you don't have them, or are not continuing in them, you may not belong to Him at all.
You need to know for sure before Jesus returns.

You may never know you are saved for sure if you take false comfort in some misguided 'I don't have to do anything' doctrine of assurance.
Not having works of righteousness is actually where fear and lack of assurance comes from.
Diligence in works gives the believer full assurance of salvation right to the very end of life.
No works leaves the 'believer' wondering in lack of assurance if they really have Christ in them in salvation.

Yes works are evidence of conversion....but that varies in how it looks for different people.

We are saved by grace......God's plan of salvation is based solely upon His love for us....not our merit.

e sided with no one, I simply made an observation that the resident false teacher got something right for once. If I agreed with a JW that Noah built an ark that wouldn’t make me as one siding with them.
That's not allowed.
Don't you know that in Christianity you have to reject everything a person believes if you disagree with just one thing they believe?

Actually he nailed it. Evidence of grace is confirmed by works.
You look to your works to know you are saved.

I do not.
I stand fully and completely on the word of God and His promises

That is what @Judges1318 is stating our works demonstrate grace to ourselves...while true in part in that grace empowers me for good works ..... I know grace apart from any all works...it is the very essence of Jesus within me.

Lol, I do not believe works earn salvation.
You may want to reconsider that statement..

Anyone that holds to conditional salvation is a worker in some aspect....by the very fact that salvation is not secure means there is something we must add to maintain it.

Being born from above is how we know.
It is a spiritual experience.

I would recommend you review the plan of salvation which has very little to do with remorse.

Our works assure us of nothing.

It Jesus who keeps his promise.

Sad that some people here who should know better have fallen for your very clear works for salvation position.

It really do obvious how you find ways to manipulate and skew verses to fit your faulty understanding.
