What lesson is there in this question that would help a person learn about God or deepen a relationship with Him?
What part of the Word of God is so useless that we shouldn't study it or reject it simply because we don't see the same value in it as someone else does. Your implying that a part of the Word of God is irrelevant to a believers walk and you couldn't be more wrong and out of touch with God. God put every single word in His Bible because He meant for us to know about it and to study it, so every single part of scripture is meant to help us in our walk with him. The whole Bible is a lesson for our walk.

'Fraud' one of the most endearing 'Freudian' slips ever.....thanks auto correct
I was raised in Dr Fraud and Dr Spook (Spock) The scary thing is my dad was a Pediatrician and this is what he would teach his patients. My mom use to laugh all the time at Dr Freud's teaching. Esp the part about the Oedipus complex. My aunt had a PhD in Psychology and she did not know that Dr Freud took Cocaine, which was legal over the counter back then.

but since you are already busy changing what the whole earth means. why stop at that
You are the one that uses bait and switch. I go by Strongs:

776. erets "common, country, earth, field, ground, land, nations, way,"

127. adamah country, earth, ground, husbandman ry, land
From 'adam; soil (from its general redness) -- country, earth, ground, husband(-man) (-ry), land.

When God said I will destroy man from the earth (Genesis 6:17) the word used is Adamah, NOT Erets.

all that to say you are above admitting you are wrong

your total avoidance regarding the facts on gigantism and desire to insult others who prove you wrong are typical for those who heads are filled with the helium of their own opinion

best to simply ignore a character that is so inclined

Actually it was Fraud that developed the theory of psychological projection. His daughter did most of the work on the theory but she wanted to give the credit to her father.

"Psychological projection is a defense mechanism people subconsciously employ in order to cope with difficult feelings or emotions. Psychological projection involves projecting undesirable feelings or emotions onto someone else, rather than admitting to or dealing with the unwanted feelings." wiki

Looks like you need to read the post on psychological projection to see that we are guilty of what we accuse others of.

I can not be: "wrong" because I have not arrived at a conclusion. I only wanted to verify that there is no conflict between true science and a true understanding of the Bible. Science tells us that there was no worldwide flood at the time of Noah. So the question is, does this contradict the Bible and the answer is: No this does not contradict the Bible. Noah's world from OUR perspective had to have been a local flood. Although this had an impact on the whole world because the animals on Noah's ark did go to other parts of the world after the flood. Although mostly the neolithic revolution spread from the Middle East to Europe. This is the beginning of Civilization. Which means the beginning of cities. Science has put a lot of research into understanding how this all took place.

It would be impossible to put every animal in the world on the Ark. How did the Kangaroo get from Australia to Noah's ark? How did the Panda Bear get from China to Noah's Ark and back to China after the flood. How did the Crocodile get from Florida to Noah's Ark and then back to Florida again after the flood? How about brown bears, black bears and white polar bears. How did they get to the Ark and the back to where they lived before the Flood? What about the Tarsier from the Philippines? How did it get to Noah's Ark in the Middle East and then back to Bohol after the flood? People need to think this through and they need to study the evidence.

Science is true, the Bible is true. They are not mutually exclusive as people would suggest. To suggest that there is a conflict means that people have not done their homework to verify that there is no conflict and that Science & Religion get along just fine. If you think there was a flood in your backyard at the time of Noah then show me your evidence to support your claim.

You are the one that is trying to twist the Hebrew to back up your theory on your interpretation of the Bible. Biodiversity shows us that Noah's flood was a local flood and not a worldwide flood.

God put every single word in His Bible
Actually more than that. Every pen stroke has a meaning for us. Some of the letters require four pen strokes to make. The Torah is made up of around 300,000 letters made from 600,000 stokes of the pen. Every letter has one thing in common, there is a point when the pen first touches the paper. The little period or dot that is formed is the size of the Universe in the Beginning. Revelation actually equates creation with a scroll: "The sky receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved from its place". (Rev 6:14)

well I mean if someone can quote quasi psychology and pretend they are a doctor and then illustrate they haven't got a clue and urge Augustine as a means of godly wisdom, I can respond in kine, no? ;) not to mention the distortion and denial of what is actually written in scripture :cautious:
