It wasn’t only the children of Israel who escaped slavery from Egypt, but gentiles also as we read in Exodus 12: 38 And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.

We are to read scripture not only from the simple literal meaning, but as messages from the Lord with spiritual meaning also. God is not physical as we are but a spiritual being who thinks and acts in a spiritual way.

God made this mixed multitude all Israel, his people who God gave a special blessing. Could this scripture tell us of their future as we live in now as including us gentiles in Israel with all it’s blessings?

It tells us this is so in Gal_3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

This may help. "Gentiles" in Hebrew means, nation people.Gentiles would also be those "other sheep", Jesus referred to in the book of John chapter 10.
◄ 1471. goy ►Strong's Concordance
goy: nation, people

Original Word: גּוֹי
Part of Speech: noun masculine; proper name, of a people
Transliteration: goy
Phonetic Spelling: (go'-ee)
Definition: nation, people

16. "And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd. 17 For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it up again. 18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father.”

I think that passage in itself puts an end to what we often hear said as, "That only pertains to the Jews! Not Christians!"

16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; note xref-1
18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. xref-1
24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. note xref-1
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: xref-7 [xref-1]

Therefore the gentile Church did not take over Israel but have been grafted in to the promise to the blood of Christ a sacrifice holy unto God that you of all may be saved to bare testament of the glory of God. In his only son YEHOSHUA Our Messiah that none should boast of each other or against of each other but shall both boast in YEHOSHUA the one true Son....

Smith’s Bible Dictionary
“Gentiles ” means nations
Gentiles : All the people who were not Jews were so called by them, being aliens from the worship, rites and privileges of Israel. The word was used contemptuously by them. In the New Testament it is used as equivalent to Greek. This use of the word seems to have arisen from the almost universal adaption of the Greek language.'

Who were Gentiles in the Bible? Meaning and Examples

Bible Promises for Jews and Gentiles

1. God’s promise to make Abraham into a great nation – Israel.
God promised (Genesis 12:1-3) and reminded (Genesis 15:4-6; Genesis 17:19-20) Abraham that He would make a great nation from his “own flesh and blood,” (Genesis 15:4).

But as Abraham and his wife Sarah aged without bearing any children, this promised became increasingly difficult to believe. In time, God fulfilled His promise by providing the couple with a son, Isaac (Genesis 21:2). God provided! Now it would actually be possible to build a nation – one child at a time. However, the story took a turn when God told Abraham to sacrifice his only son.

Abraham shows his reverential obedience to God by taking Isaac up to the alter. With Abraham’s heart fully surrendered to God’s revealed will, we pick up in Genesis 22, where the angel of the Lord stopped Abraham from killing Isaac and provided a substitute sacrifice (an allegory for the coming Jesus Christ).

2. God’s promise to bless the nations of the earth – the Gentiles.
The next passage mirrors Abraham’s obedience and God’s promise back in Genesis 12. In both Scripture passages, God’s promise to make Abraham into a great nation is also a promise of blessing for the nations – the Gentiles.

“The angel of the LORD called to Abraham from heaven a second time and said, ‘I swear by myself, declares the LORD, that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me’” (Genesis 22:15-18).

God’s plan all along was one of blessing for all nations. Because of Israel’s witness to God’s power and love, Gentiles throughout the Old Testament were drawn to the God of Israel. They came to know God by the testimony of his people and the Word he revealed. [Full article @ Link]

While it is indeed best to search the Bible first to see how it interprets itself, the verse you quoted has nothing to do with that.

It says, "No prophecy of Scripture..." not "No Scripture". In other words, the prophecies that are recorded in Scripture do not have their origin in the interpretations of humans, but rather in the Spirit of God.

We interpret Scripture merely by reading it. We connect the words on the page to our extant knowledge and experiences, both biblical and extra-biblical. For example, you will never know just by reading Scripture that a mulberry tree is one of the most vigorously-rooted bushes and is therefore difficult to uproot.

It tells us this is so in Gal_3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
In Christ there is neither Jew nor Gentile. You should have posted the preceding verses:
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek [Gentile], there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Believing Israel -- saved Jews -- are compared to the good olive tree and saved Gentiles are compared to branches of the wild olive tree which have been GRAFTED into the good olive tree (see Romans 11). When you graft a branch into a tree, it becomes a part of the tree, and this metaphorical tree is the Church. But to answer your question, Gentiles cannot be regarded as being actual Israelites.

As pertaining to FAITH ALONE......Abraham BELIEVED God, thus he was accounted as Righteous. Likewise, we BELIVE on Christ. Romans 11 says Israel was CUT-OFF because of Unbelief and will be grafted back in only when they BELIEVE again.

So do we believe again?

I think it is important that we don't close our minds to instructions given Israel, thinking God doesn't include us in His ways.

Lots of the Israel that is of the Hebrew race do not believe, and they are told they are cut off until they do. We are also told that God will never forget them, and we are also told that only God determines if we are saved or not. So to follow God's guidance we are to just let God decide anything about the Hebrew race. If we believe what the Lord tells us, we are not cut off.

And how can we know what the Bible says without reading it in our own language, which has been interpreted from the original for us?

Instead of sidestepping my point, perhaps you'd like to stop and consider it.

By the way, the word is "have", not "haft".

Abraham is the father of Israel, just as his name translates to Father of Nations (Peoples).

His name is a prophecy, and our Father in Haven fulfilled this before nations existed.

The understanding is discovered by the meaning of the name .If that cannot have agreement then the rest of doctrine has no foundation. Adding new meaning to a word can change the authors intent.

The law is not to add new meaning to a word.

God calls Israel his first born uses it to represent the idea a person must be born gain. He uses that idea to represent His son as the first born. He began developing it with Cain deceived by Satan. Cain the natural first born that sold his birth rite position for a little peace of mind and killed Abel the second born. The first mentioned martyr, one who suffered for the faith of Christ that worked within..

With the twins Esau and Jacob the same kind of parable is used.. Jacob meaning deceiver or one that grabs the heel of another would represent those who wrestles against flesh and blood the things seen and do not overcome. Having no strength from within needed. . Natural unconverted mankind

When he renamed Jacob meaning deceiver or one who does wrestle against flesh as blood. God gave Jacob a born again name Israel . Israel as Emmanuel with us working with us so that we can overcome. You could say Jacob's born again experience. As Israel he did marvel for the fact that his trespass Christ did pay.

Note ….orange = flesh and blood)

Note ….green = born again Israel

Note ….red = the power to overcome the things not seen

And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there. And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved Geneisis 32: 24-30

All in the name.

We all have our own Peniel experience as our first love. Just like Jacob .

Ephesians 6:12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Exactly he was used in a ceremonial law as a shadow leading toward God "first born" demonstration of our bloody husband Christ before time and the glory that followed. The graves were opened as well as the resurrection gates.. tens of thousands of old testament saints entered in

Abraham is not Israel. Believing Gentiles are a type of believing Abraham before His circumcision.
True in that Abraham was the grandsire of Jacob. Jacob became Israel.
Abraham was the father of many nations, or, 'ab hamon goyim .
Abraham was first known as Abram.God changed his name to Abraham. Abraham does not mean, father of many nations. Abraham was the father of many nations.
The name Abraham in the Bible

The name Abraham is applied to only one man in the Bible: the famous son of Terah, who started out his life as Abram in Ur of the Chaldeans (Genesis 11:27) and ended it in Canaan, as the grandfather of Jacob, who became Israel.

The literary function of the character of Abraham obviously far exceeds that of a historical figure (Matthew 22:32) and his patriarchy obviously has nothing to do with physical descent — that particular obsession came later, spawned by nationalism (Matthew 3:9). Abraham's patriarchy denotes a shared behavior (John 8:39) — what we moderns would call an -ism , in essence comparable to the patriarchies of Jabal and Jubal, the "fathers" of all who keep life stock, live in tents and play music (Genesis 4:20-21). Jabal and Jubal's physical lineage was cut short by Noah's flood and their patriarchies, like Abraham's, sum up activity and not physical descent.

It's been famously said that Abraham believed YHWH (and he reckoned that as righteousness; Genesis 15:6). The key-verb is אמן ('aman), which does not denote simply accepting for true an otherwise unverified statement but rather an active upholding of a standard. Abraham's patriarchy is one of doing; an activity much more fundamental than any particular conviction.

The Biblical narrative does not progress along a temporal axis (following time, like a modern story would) but along a complexity axis (from general to specific). Hence Adam marks the level that all living things have in common (Eve was the 'mother of all life', or in modern terms: the biosphere; Genesis 3:20, and the 'original sin' affected the whole of creation; Romans 8:22), and Noah marks the level of complexity at which the human mind is distinguished from animal behavior (hence 'they knew not until the flood came'; Matthew 24:39, also see 2 Peter 2:12 and Jude 1:10).

The story of Abraham serves as ultimate result of the destruction of the tower of Babel. Abraham's story follows the tower's story directly (Genesis 11), as two sides of the same coin. The proverbial tower of Babel manifests the quintessential need of people to gather around an identifying center, whereas Abraham's story is characterized by a divergence away from local centralization. The tower of Babel marks the level of primary state formation and Abraham marks the beginning of international dialogue, the exchange of goods and ideas, and the "centralization" around universal rather than local convictions.

In the New Testament, the tension between Abraham and the tower of Babel is playfully revisited in the relationship between Jesus (John 12:32) and Mary Magdalene (= Mary of God's Tower), whose signature deliverance from seven demons was not a new thing but rather based on a time honored dictum: compare Luke 8:2 to Proverbs 9:1, Exodus 2:16, Isaiah 4:1 and even Revelation 1:4.
The name Abraham occurs a total of 73 times in the New Testament; see full concordance.

Yes, of course .. Today we are in the times of the gentiles and a few Jews stumble in .. Is God through with Israel yet ? If so when ?
