How and when have you experienced God? What did you see, feel, hear? What changed you or how did you respond?

Thanks for the opportunity to share my testimony.

When I was 20, the Lord converted me over 3 days. I began telling people that I didn’t know what was going on but I think Christ is real and he is dealing with me.

The joy of the Holy Spirit and God’s love had become real and it thrilled me. But, on the evening of the 3rd day, I became convicted of sins I didn’t even know existed. I began praying, sobbing and asking God’s forgiveness.

I also asked Jesus into my heart. I heard you should do this, probably as a child. I fell asleep in tears only to awake the next day convinced Christ had saved me.

I began telling others and saw a whole string of conversions in and around people I knew. They knew I had something special and wanted in on it.

Within a year I found a Church to baptize me. I eventually gave up my career since it hindered my walk with Jesus. I began living the Sermon on the Mount as my new career, God providing every need, from then till now.

Great testimony. What career are you in now?

I experience God daily. My first experience with God was in a dream. He took me out into the universe and showed me that the universe was expanding. Then he said at some point in time the universe will begin to shrink and come back together again. They call this contracting. He showed me this as an example that my family was going to drift apart but that at some point in time we would all come back together again. There was a time once when the Angels delivered a message from God to me. He wanted me to know that He was a God of absolute and perfect Justice. Maybe 15 times I received this message. People esp atheists like to accuse God and claim He is not just and that He does not treat people with Justice. This is absolutely not true. The unsaved will receive the justice of God. So this is two examples of an experience I have had with God.

Decades ago in an anguished time of inner weakness and emptiness and suffering, a nun who was dying of cancer who counseled me said, with quiet, humble authority,
"that sounds like a powerful experience."

If we do not experience the anguish of the veiling of Heaven's Light with Jesus, how can we celebrate and give thanks for the Light?
