Oneness or trinity, Is Jesus God or man?

You can't discern it so you say it doesn't exist. You cannot prove something does not exist, only your folly in saying it doesn't

Some of the Scripture proof of the Trinity;

1. There is only one God (e.g., Rom. 3:30)

2. The Father is God (e.g., John 6:27)

3. Jesus the Son is God (e.g., John 20:28; Rom. 9:5; 2 Peter 1:1)

4. The Holy Spirit is God (e.g., Acts 5:3–5)

5. These Three are distinct persons (e.g., John 14:16–17)

On the Mount of transfiguration

“While he was still speaking, suddenly a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said: This is My beloved Son. I take delight in Him. Listen to Him! I'm not into reading some 20 and more pages to give a small comment here. You'll pardon me if this has been said already.
As I recall Jesus said in a number of places enough that I got the idea he was saying he was God himself.
When you've seen me you've seen the father, is about as clear as it can get. At least I think so.
I and the father are one, is another.

Why is it important to try and do away with that?

Because it's a heresy and they've been doing it since Christ's day, and before.

That sort of clears the air of any thoughts along the lines of changing those type peoples minds here doesn't it.
