If TP is the new symbol of wealth, I should go into gardening. I'd be a mulleinaire.

The questions of the day are: Is it flushable? Will it harm septic tanks?
Native Americans would smoke the leaves for "mental relaxation". Plus the seeds are supposed to have some kind of narcotic effect. So, I guess you could smoke some leaves and pop a few seeds, wipe your butt and not care if it hurt your septic tank.

TOILET PAPER
Seems there is a run on toilet paper in some places. Stores selling out. Shelves empty.
If/when we have a real crisis who knows what will happen?
I saw it comin' stocked up this weekend. There's a joke in there somewhere, not touchin' it.

My local stores are empty of toilet paper..

It really is weird.. Why is it that only toilet paper is being panic bought???? If i really felt we where in a disastrous situation i would buy canned food as my first priority.. Or bottled water.. Or medications.. Or.. well many things that are far more important then toilet paper..

We live in a very strange world..

I agree with canned food, bottled water, and medications, BUT---
have you ever been out of toilet paper when you needed it?

I knew we were making a mistake when we let Sears go bankrupt. We would have a huge catalog to fill in for missing TP.

My scored 8 mega rolls of Charmin yesterday. Not only was there plenty on the shelves it was on sale. We're all set with the bottled water too, plenty at Costco. She drinks it all of the time but for me my beverage of choice is coffee. Coffee is my first priority. It is far more important than toilet paper. My wife wants to start a garden. Maybe start of crop of that toilet paper plant. I heard that you can smoke that stuff too so it can't be all bad.

OK here is my theory. (Warning: I've been cooped up at home with allergies so I have way too much time to think, lol)

Like everyone else on Facebook I have seen the previously bewildering hoarding of toilet paper.
I think I have a plausible theory.
I think we misunderstand the hoarders. All the pics I've seen of the virus make it look like the size of a gopher. I mean they make it look like an like a 1950's a huge sci fi alien floating along and bent on world domination. I think the hoarders' plan is to throw the toilet rolls at any approaching virus, thereby stunning it and allowing the virus to get tangled in the paper.
This should give the thrower enough time to escape, or, if they are feeling brave, run over and whack it with a gardening implement, to stop it in its tracks.
Now don't I feel silly thinking that the hoarders didn't know what they were doing. :giggle::LOL:

That's only if they can find the toilet paper in time.....

Come to think of it, that's everybody's problem :cautious:

No..

But in an emergency there are a lot of different types of paper one could use.. Like News Paper or serviettes or napkins.. The alternatives are numerous.. Yeah toilet paper is better then those but in an emergency people can make do with a good number of alternatives..

People however cannot do without food or water or needed medications.. I am a diabetic for instance.. If i don't get my medications then serious complications will soon set in..

Is that a picture of the option you have if you run out of TP? Beats burning books I guess.
I'm kidding of course.

I have about 400 coffee filters, you can wet them, even put a dab of lotion.... if the occasion calls for.... I'll sell them $1.00 per filter.... even though it cost me .99 for 400... so if you cannot buy 1,000,000 rolls of TP I'm here for you..... Lotation for sale too but extra....lol...lol

No wonder people are hoarding!

Toilet paper will save you money on pet food and you can feed the children with it.
