I am sixteen and male. I thought that I should start believing in something. Christianity seems to be the best thing to believe in during the time we're living in. I also just hope to be a better person as I realised that I haven't been a particularly great person (not horrible, but not as good as I could have been). I hope to go to church and get baptized. I hope you all have a great day/afternoon/night!! :)

Welcome! Just curious, why does Christianity seem to be the best thing to believe? What drew you to this worldview? Do know why it is the objective absolute best and only logical worldview?

The best minds and astute opinions agree that we are near to the end times. The book of Daniel specifies a very well defined set of parameters which indicate that the end of the age is indeed at hand. I concur, as it is evident that the worldwide financial and communication system is in now place. I would urge you to take refuge in the Lord without delay, make your personal commitment immediately. Today is the day of salvation. Your sanctification and growth will proceed from your commitment, there is no need for any preliminary measures whatsoever. God Bless and God speed to you. We are praying that the Work of Jesus and the Will of the Father shall be fulfilled in you.

Just fyi, being a believer in Christ is the best thing to believe in at any time in history, since without him there is no salvation.

Welcome to a wonderful world!
Hello ANew, welcome to Christian Chat. I hope you'll enjoy your stay here.

Thank you for the warm welcoming! I feel very blessed to have found this place. God bless you, all.

Welcome! Just curious, why does Christianity seem to be the best thing to believe? What drew you to this worldview? Do know why it is the objective absolute best and only logical worldview?
To me, it just felt right. For years, Christianity has been the pillar to western civilization. Yes, there have been issues, but every society has had issues. Recently there has been a draw back in the amount of people who believe in God in the west, and more and more issues concerning discipline (or rather a lack there of), temptation, and sexual depravity have become apparent. More and more, the cities are starting to look like the hellish depictions painted by previous generations. Yes, we are in a time of peace, but that wasn't a a consequence of the religious recession, but a consequence of the first and second world war. Also, I had prayed to God in the past, and God answered. I'm not sure if it's relevant, but during prayer groups I find tears in my eyes. Either that's hay-fever, or a sign of God's presence.

That's what I sensed. I'm glad there are others of a similar mind. I pray to you, and everyone, that you will all be saved. God bless and God speed.

I'll be sure to watch these videos. Thank you. :)

Thank you for the warm welcome. I found the forum when I was looking for another foum that I had used in the past when I was an atheist. I didn't believe then, but I wanted to understand. I will be sure to stick around and learn much. God bless you. Thank you.

You are completely right. I did word my sentence rather poorly, my apologies. I meant that I felt more compelled to adopt Christianity due to what I have witnessed. God bless you!

Thank you! I love the image. God bless you.
"Thank you for being you!
Your words appear to be from a mind that is not relevant to your age. Always a joy to hear from
one of your age, your words of soundness are refreshing, I assure you. And, God's 'presence' ...
closer than perhaps fully realized. Make no mistake, being 'aware' of the Holy Spirit, has enhanced my life
greatly in the past two decades...believe it......'Praise God'.
I hope you don't allow to be led down the wrong path, and to be reminded, the significance of ...
'answers to all things are found within'.
God Bless.

Awesome it sounds like you have experienced much and right minded in your conclusions. Well observed and on the path in spiritual maturity. Keep growing in Christ. Do not become stagnant but continue to thirst for God. If you ever feel like things are at a standstill then pray for God to move in you. To amp up your soul with the Spirit that lives within.

I am so glad that you have turned your eyes toward Jesus. He loves you. He welcome you with open arms. Just surrender completely to Him. Come just as you are. It is this simple because He already paid the price for your past sins when He died on the Cross. If you have invited Him in, you can be sure He came in. That is because He has been knocking on everyone's door for a long time. Welcome to CC and God bless you.:)

Thank you! There have been times where I have certainly become stagnant. Your suggestion is very helpful! : )
