Hi all. Thanks for those who actually read these and pray.
So, I don't want to get into a long story here but my home is really tense. I am a christian, who does not know other christians who seem to care actually. My church is large, the homegroup runs on a program and the members ignore each other the rest of the time. so here it goes:
1) I live with two other people, one is bi-polar, alcoholic and high use of pot smoker; I hear him mentally abuse my other roommate all of the time and she just takes it but in time is falling apart, ignores it, and deals with it but she is degrading in mental health. Pray for them.
2) Pray for me. I have no choice right now and need to share a space. Therefore, I come home after working all day with people who are recovering from substance use and trauma and abuse (women) and listen to them to help them heal. Then I come home to the same thing. It is getting old. I hide in my room, and when he starts getting louder, aggressive the animals come into my room with me and the dog shakes. Please pray for an open door and/or peace. I'm just tired. It is too much after all day.
3) Christian fellowship: After I moved back to the states, I have never been so isolated in my life. People here are in their bubbles, already have their social life etc. Are nice but that is it! No community here. Yes, I've tried all, groups, bible studies, women groups, meet ups, hiking clubs, getting together with women at work but it seems that the USA is just closed to newcomers. I never had this in all my life abroad. I really want to find a home group in my area, I will even host one in my home, I just need to fill it. My roommates will have to behave.
Thanks

I actually really resonate with the animals on top of it all. I pray for peace in that. I've noticed some days I'm curiously immune to it and I thank the Lord for it. There's a lot of really welcoming females in my area and I know of a few married couples I could reach out to for you if the Lord lays it on your heart. I have a hard time finding community even in the Christian community...tons of closed doors it would seem, but I do at least have places to look.

I pray for continued encouragement in your searching. For renewed fortitude and steadfastness.

Are you in some kind of group home program? Reason I ask is, your mention of the bi-polar alcoholic that is so off that he scares the pets in the home and abuses the female roommate that lives with you all.

By FAR the biggest challenge in my pilgrims walk is finding fellowship with GENUINE AUTHENTIC Christians. Its been over 20 years......and its still a challenge. Thank God for my believing wife. Hang in there and flee from these unsaved souls. You are far better off alone. Looks like we are near to the end times....now is the time to grit your teeth and cling to Jesus Christ like never before. Never ever abandon your calling. Heed the words of Jesus "to him that overcometh I will give to eat of the tree of life..."
