They do not want cash because paper money always carries a lot of bacteria and viruses.

So I think reasonable because even if you wear gloves once you touch the money you have to change gloves once again.

Going to the beach in groups ..yup definitely not a good move.
Sad eh, here we stay home to protect others and ourselves, do the right thing and other people act like fools...
Very frustrating!!
What's worse is that they interviewed people at the beach and their response was "the virus is not our problem" :censored:
We also have four cruise ships dock today when they have been told not to come here :censored::censored:

Wow that is not good, terrible attitude

..the numbers are on the lower end right now in AU but that could change rapidly if behaviours do not change.

Well our newly elected prime minister is a christian and seems to be doing a good job so far so hopefully that will continue. The beach has been closed to the public but they don' t like that so instead they are gathering at the parks at the beach. They think it is a joke, like no one tells them what to do. It is a free country blah blah blah.

Mr JamOn .... ecpontial growth....one person infects another bunch and all those infect another bunch... because they have no symptoms for more than a week....this has always been the real problem of this virus.

Its ability to replicate very efficiently in himans will easily over whelm our health care system because of the sheer high level of transmission.

We all need to shelter in place as much as.possible to get this thing to die out hopefully and pray for no second wave.
That is my point, people in prison are pretty much sheltered in place, yet three inmates got it.

Visitors, guards, other personnel.... but you are right is does show how is has reached all corners which means it is far more pervasive then we realize... ..Italy has had a 6000 increase in one day... this number relates back to approximately 10 days ago when they had just started to hunker down, hopefully their number should start to drop, it will depend how much contact those 6000 people have had with others over the course of 10 days.

Do you see the exponential increase we have here?
So the numbers we see today have to be applied backwards for at least a week, because this virus incubates so long.

to reach almost every place in the world in about three months, im thinking it’s airborne at this point or something. to reach into a prison which is far more secluded than being among the public even staying in ones house. It doesn’t appear any shelter is safe.

Might be latching on to the pollen since that is spreading also.

It is airborne... but one has to be in proximity, of course those droplets eventually fall to the ground, not sure if anyone knows how long it stays suspended in the air?

they say a couple of feet, yet it is a novel meaning never been seen before, so it’s pathways and durations are really not known at this point.

Just never understood why people do not plan for the unexpected. Its not really that difficult or expensive.
A little here and a little there for a year or so and you are prepared.
That's assuming everyone has life circumstances like your own. Planning far ahead and stockpiling is not possible for everyone.
It helps if you have your own home or own property I suppose.

I realize that I am blessed more than some, but I disagree that everyone cannot be somewhat prepared for difficult times.
With a little planning and sacrifice of wants, it is not that difficult to have enough food and other necessities so one would not have to go shopping for a few months.
I was taught and have always practiced that one should always save a little no matter how much or little they make.
A dollar here and a dollar there and it adds up over time.
Have you ever really noticed how much money people spent in the supermarket on junk food so they do not have to spend time cooking.

Just an added thought----
People who do not have money to prepare ahead of time seem to always have money to rush out and buy more than they need (hoard) when a crisis comes up.

I'm 41 and have worked on paper, since I was 15 (before that I baby sit, cleaned houses, and took many odd jobs and worked for cash) so yes I have been financially able to prepare. I also own a two story home free and clear no mortgage. I have plenty of space to stock things up and prepare.

On the other hand, younger people who do not have their own home and have not had the same opportunities in life that I have do not have or have had very limited ability to prepare. Some of these folks have been living paycheck to paycheck and have had just enough food for the week. No actual way to stock up past that....So the question might be are we who do have the ability going to share with those that haven't in cases of emergency?

And even if someone has squandered their money and opportunities throughout their life....If things get worse, then what do we do?...let them and their families starve.....idk...just asking

Just an fyi.... viruses need a host cell to survive.
Pollen grains are microscopic structures that is a reproductive cell of plants.

so a single virus cell can live for days I’m thinking on the lines like a rider on a horse.

We cannot save everyone... for sure we need to make wise choices who we help... I believe our first priority is always believers.

All this depends on the situation, war etc.,... this pandemic is not going to make people starve ... I really do not think it will go that far.

It will for those who struggle to get food already and there are many many people in the world that live on scraps basically.

There is about 25,000 people lose their life to starvation each day and every day long before the pandemic started and that number isn’t going to drop but increase.

I went out the other day and bought some can food items and non-perishable food items for some elderly and disabled people I know, to stock up on and have at home just in case they are unable to get out due to this virus. They are on disability checks and don't have the funds to do so for themselves. I'm trying but I know I don't have the funds to help everyone, and I'm not really sure how this is going to go. Maybe I'm letting, the fact that stores are selling out so quick make me panic for my friends. At one grocery store I went to they said they are having trouble reordering on some of their stock. IDK...but this is really causing a lot of upheaval.
