No one probably wholeheartedly believed it until it actually took place and He presented Himself to those who knew Him before His death. But today. most preachers preach Death-Burial-Resurrection in a package and anyone coming to Christ has the basics of this knowledge.
So how does one get saved before Jesus died?

They are active mocking God shown by those who make a noise and fall backward. Are you looking at foundation of tongue in Isiah 28 ?.

Once you establish the foundation .Then its easy to see who mocks who with stammering lips. The the law pertaining to it in 1 Corinthians 14 becomes clear. That God is bringing new prophecy as tongues in all the languages of the world. But those who would rather obey the traditions of men keep on mocking God with the same oral tradition of mankind. Make a sound without meaning and fall backward. They know why they are falling backward "slain in the Spirit" they just do it proudly as a self edifying tool .I did it. . and then marvel as a wonderment... Whats the purpose certainly not edifying God.?

It not that it has ceased it never started.
I guess these people speaking "the new tongue, the gospel" are just mocking and self-edifying.

I am neither charismatic nor non-charismatic. I have seen lots of debate on this forum concerning the theological views of both, and I have seen those debates become heated. I think both camps mischaracterize the other camp pretty severally. Those mischaracterizations are due to 2 main things. One, the radicals of each group do fulfill and fuel those ideas, and 2 people don't care to hear out the other person in full.
I personally think that cesationists and charismatics are seriously misunderstanding the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Now mind you I am generally speaking, not overly categorizing any individual.

Not at all. There are about TWENTY spiritual gifts, therefore there is absolutely no reason to focus on tongues and healing. Furthermore Paul said that tongues would cease, and that they did. No one speaks genuine human languages SUPERNATURALLY today. Even the Charismatics will admit to that. Chances are that their missionaries must learn foreign languages to go abroad on missions.

As to healings, God anticipated that after the apostles passed on healings would be through prayer. Therefore we have this passage:

JAMES 5: THE PRAYER OF FAITH
13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

Jews had to put their faith in the Law, meaning they have to be circumcised and follow the Law?
You are seriously mistaken. Jews and Hebrews (before Jews) had to put their faith in God -- the LORD God Almighty -- just like Abel, Noah, and Abraham. Why don't you study Hebrews 11? And all believers must now put their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (who is also the LORD God Almighty).

Ok, great. Then what I said excludes you. I said I was speaking in generalities.

Yes, and we still must accept Christ as our Lord and Savior and have faith in Him.

So for the Jews during the 4 gospels do both, while Jews in the ot just need to follow the law?

But they had the Ark of the Covenant that we know spiritually represents Christ. And they did believe in the promise of the Messiah. The Book of Acts deals with the Jews who were familiar with Christ on this very matter.

So what about us now? Do we believe in Jesus death and resurrection as well as try to keep the law as well?
