so, to clarify, I don't literally mean I am Jesus. Here's what I mean: For the first few years of my walk---I loved the vast majority of everything I saw in Jesus and the teachings of Paul...there was little not to like. There was some knowledge of my sinfulness but an ever present desire to be like Jesus and exemplify his teachings tenfold. I would at times find the prophecy of the suffering servant in Isaiah and thinking I shared that experience with Jesus (my suffering was nowhere near his, for the record). But what truly disturbed me more than anything else, was that, what I couldn't push from my mind was...if Jesus attended church today, Christians would probably despise him and kick him out of it, without repentance. And this is great cause for concern; because unrepentance of that nature should cause us to question our salvation. I would tell you now that I have learned more about grace and the brevity of my sinfulness; nonetheless my experience helped me to see a deep dark problem within the church today.

The apostasy of the assemblies had already begun at the time of Paul.

Jesus foretold apostasy would abound before He returns. Therefore you understanding is in line with our Teacher's teaching.

As it is written, God will call His children out of the Great Harlot.........The closer we are to the end of this age, the more evil-minded souls will be incarnate, and the true to Jesus-Yeshua will be few so do not think you are doing or thinking anything untoward I believe you are being directed by our Father.

Apostasy may be defined as man attmpting to put words into our blessed Savior's Mouth. It is impossible but these falsehoods in the place of the Gospel will be more evident as we approach His return. God bless you aLWAYS. j

yup

so much of the NT was written to correct error

much instruction...and warnings from Jesus and mostly about deception

like Paul said...some are so eager to accept a 'different' Jesus

I believe whoever has ears let them hear and whoever has eyes to see let them see fits here perfectly.
Your wisdom is showing in understanding all of this
