Absolutely! I think being in a relationship can be hard - and will be hard - but Imagine how much better it would be if you did have a like minded person by your side. A person to work with you to make ends meet- and when things turn to kids and all that - it will work itself out - it always does. Because parents will make it happen!

So I think mostly ALL YOU MEN need to go volunteer so we girls can get to know you lol :)

So where did you move to? I am just now applying to lot's of minstrels in the Atlanta area where I moved from a year ago - but now feel like I am ready to return back to. Fingers crossed any or some will answer back with positions they are able to fill. I know God will make a way. It is so thrilling - because I have to find a place and I don't want to fall back on my crutches - namely some waitress Jobs I know will hire me back if I ask.
I want to be self sufficient and be able to do what I love from that place begin buiding ties to my family again. Living with family is stressful for me - because I did not grow up with them at all and I don't feel I have a relationship or connection to them and so I constantly try to earn their approval. And I am not who I am around them in fear they won't like who I am.

But I believe God's cured me of that now... We will see! Pray for me! haha
I live in Jacksonville, FL. I get what you're saying with the family thing. My family are not believers and I wasn't saved until I was 20, and it's been rather difficult. They have been more accepting of my beliefs, it went from mocking and insult to more accepting but with reservation. It's been interesting, I'll just leave it at that. Escape rooms are awesome! Though there's one in Orlando advertising a Pandemic theme and I just don't know how that will go over with the country right now lol.

I was saved at 21 and into a Christian family who were excited but not very helpful. My language was not English so understanding the Bible was hard and loving with my mom I didn't attend church because she didn't.

Let's say - tv evangelists aren't always the most savory... And my family has a strange view of Christianity. Like when I was hurt and sad and down when my cousin was murdered her mom was like "if you aren't always joyful you aren't a good Christian" so it was always me faking being happy.

But that isn't in some of our nature's. I'm a very sensitive person and others misfortunes deeply impact me. I have to force myself not to REALLY think about or I'll cry every time.

So I've learned that I have to be me, she has to be her (in my mind I'm thinking she is mostly in denial of her feelings and grief) and accept that my family won't always agree with me nor perhaps with who I am - and that is okay as long as we respect and love another.

Oh I went to Florida Orlando in (oh my.... It's been like 17 years ago)... And it's kinda neat :)

How are you liking the south? I hear in Miami there is some amazing Cuban food. (I like eating lol)

well it's a room with clues and stuff - you get locked in and you have to figure out how to escape.
At halloween we have one in Georgia that has zombies chained inside the room and every two minutes or so they loosen the chains more and if the zombies get to you you "die" .

Well I watched a movie from the past called Sabrina with Harrison Ford and I'm not sure who the female was?? It was great. I have seen it come on TV several times but never sat down and watched it. As there was nothing else on at the time I did sit down and watched it and really enjoyed it. (y)
She was the Brit. that was in that movie with Brad Pitt. "Legends of the Fall" witch was a good movie as well...

Ya know, most of the Filipino’s that I know identify with either being a Catholic or Christian.

It’ll be interesting if he were a Buddist 🤔🤣

Ok I’m curious now!! What do you guys think you have to do in order to talk to us? This may make a good way for us to give you a good realistic expectation.

I like my action movies, as well as comedies, documentaries, musicals (e.g SOM, Grease, The 5 Heartbeats), real life events, and thrillers (these can be overrated sometimes) and, cartoons 😂

Sounds a bit daft to me....

I usually lock doors to keep people (or zombies) OUT not in.

Only been here 4 months or so...idk how I feel yet, and I'm working too much to really enjoy the leisurely activities. I did go to Universal a few years back which is fun...haven't been to Miami though.
Yea my dad seems to think Jesus only ate fish and wine and never anything else, and as a result, thinks Jerusalem shouldn't have a cafe named Holy Bagel lol. I'm also not even kidding...

lol every escape room is different; an in fact most escape rooms offer multiple themes. The last one I did in Texas had both an earthquake theme and a Breakfast Club/high school theme. They were loads of fun. But yes there are some zombie ones I would imagine.

no, don't know what gave you that impression
That your father knew so little about Jesus.. My friends from there told me that they had no knowledge of Christ growing up. Did'nt even have the new testament in their libraries...
