By all means, let's get this party started!!!
However... We need volunteers to write some of these threads.
I don't know if it's like this for anyone else, but for me, threads consume a whole lot of energy. By the time I sat down to actually scribble an outline, start writing, reread, reword, edit, add and subtract, think of a poll... This thread alone took over 2 hours to write, probably closer to 3. And that's not even counting the time it took to mull over the initial ideas in my head.
This is why I come and go, and why my output is so sporadic.
Seeing as I've been posting a lot more than usual the past few days, I'm going to be in a mental coma until at least next Wednesday.

alright, try this, I will go first. Born to two narcissist parents, learnt from a young age to be independent and not rely on others for love. self reliant. Never married, no children. Did have a mortgage once, for two years, couldn't stand the lifestyle and the burden. It was like a millstone around my neck. Travelled australia working in many different jobs, only had three long term relationships , all with older women, been with the lord since I was 11. Did drift away for many years , nothing to outrageous though. I am not materialistic, not aspirational and have actually refused promotions, I have no friends , and lost contact with family many years ago. I am affectionate, love peace and quiet and my own company. I sew, knit, do road trips, like exploring new city and villages, art galleries and museums, love all sorts of music except for country and western. Thats all I can think of right now. And if I ever have a son I am going to call him Edmund Fitzgerald, the daughter will be called Enola Gay

This is really interesting, Gregory, thank you for sharing. I'm thinking we're definitely going to have to start a thread in which people can tell us about themselves...
I had to smile when you mentioned the Enola Gay. Several years ago I was able to visit the National Air and Space Museum with my Grandpa, who was a WWII veteran, and the number one thing he wanted to see was the Enola Gay.
