No my friend, He didn’t.

When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone;[James 1:13]
Why pray lead us not into temptation if he does not?

God = Good, truth, love and justice

Satan = God's Good distorted, lies, hate and injustice.

Psalms 145 is such a great chapter.

It says...

I will extol You, my God, O King, And I will bless Your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever. Great is the Lord , and highly to be praised, And His greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts. On the glorious splendor of Your majesty And on Your wonderful works, I will meditate. Men shall speak of the power of Your awesome acts, And I will tell of Your greatness. They shall eagerly utter the memory of Your abundant goodness And will shout joyfully of Your righteousness. The Lord is gracious and merciful; Slow to anger and great in lovingkindness. All Your works shall give thanks to You, O Lord , And Your godly ones shall bless You. The Lord is good to all, And His mercies are over all His works. They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom And talk of Your power; To make known to the sons of men Your mighty acts And the glory of the majesty of Your kingdom. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And Your dominion endures throughout all generations. The Lord sustains all who fall And raises up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to You, And You give them their food in due time. You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing. The Lord is righteous in all His ways And kind in all His deeds. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them. The Lord keeps all who love Him, But all the wicked He will destroy. My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord , And all flesh will bless His holy name forever and ever.
Psalms 145:1‭‭-‬21 NASB

Which he did when he created the human race.
I'm pretty sure Adam sinned on his own, not by God. God did not bring sin into the world.

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

If he creates people who will sin, how can he not cause them to sin, by creating them?

Because He didn't. He created perfect people and gave them freewill. They chose sin, then He sent His Son to redeem them.

God wanted him to sin or he would not have. Why the serpent? the wife? the commandment? the tree? Can you see the greater good in Adam's sin?

The problem is, you cannot take away from God and not end up constructing your own golden calf.
right.
so why do you persist in trying to remove goodness from God?

you say God causes you to sin, and you say tho God is evil the only reason He can't be called that because there's no court to hold Him to account.
if no court can convict God of the sin you say He engages in, then no court can declare Him innocent either.
so you say, God is not good - because there is no standard by which to call Him good.

you & your rabbi Clark say God is an amoral capricious monster escaping justice only by virtue of being technically unprosecutable.
what in the world makes you think this is sound theology lol?? why in the world would you say this out of one corner of your mouth and quote Proverbs 1:7 out of the other? you not see how that verse destroys your rabbi's argument?

Instead of accusing God (as Satan) be like a child. He loves to talk to children..,who know how to just shut up and listen.

The reason behind the tree is for man to choose to follow God. God did not cause Adam to sin. Do you blame your personal sin on God? If this is true, we should never be held accountable for sin.
