I can do a somewhat improvised unique format to music that would be like "the carlton" but with a lot of variation in movements.

In fact, family named it something quite similar.

Hmm...on a scale of 1-10...how annoying is the bark of a dog?
Depends on what kind of dog it is.

Small miniature dogs would be 9-10.

All other dogs sit at 5-6.

Same Q....

Well...if it has perceptible utility (i.e practical intruder alert, or hey I need to pee) then probs about 2-3.

ANY other reason 8.5-9 just depends on the dog. My sister currently has us taking care of her dog because she works and it "bugles" like imagine the bugles in an english hunt and add some kind of canine sound to it and there you go. It isn't a bark and the dog is tiny.

Pyrenees we had would bark so loud it would just jar me, hurt my ears and cause instant anger due to the pain and the randomness. I quickly settle down, but it's that instant reaction to a loud noise that I suppose is human. That at times would be closer to a 9.5 lol.

I won't go on a dog rant, but I'd rather have mosquito bites every day of my life than be plagued by a dog bark in a home.

Do you like dogs presuming the barking was minimal and of utility?

I have two big dogs, one of them barks at anyone walking past while the other is often chill....but when he see’s random people in our territory he barks lol.

I love my dogs, no doubt they bring me a lot of joy and love especially when I come home from a hard days work. I love to snuggle with them lol.

I do know some dogs can be trained if their barking is out of control, so that wouldn’t matter too much.

Would you own a pet spider or fish?

Not really, I am a cat person. Although the neighbours dog isnt too bad. She is quite cute.

What is your least favourite chore?

Tough question. Tarantulas are alright, but a spider habitat (like a greenhouse with a full ecosystem) would be cool.

Fish get along with most people though and don't creep them out, so probably a fish in main spaces...spider if others were alright with entomology as a hobby ;)

Cats are my preference but they have very little utility for tasks (like herding, guarding, working, etc)

Least favorite chore is... Laundry hands down. Maybe room cleaning as a close second.

Hard to answer with two people lol. So umm...Do you find it challenge to answer and pose multiple questions at once? ;)

Not really, I’m comfortable enough to say that I’m a multi-tasker :)

I guess you could be the same as well! 😁

What is one thing you find challenging about other people that you interact with on CC?

Hmmm that required alot of thought. I would say breaking the ice and talking and responding and then maybe not knowing how far you can go jokingly.

What is your currently favourite TV show?

Hmm, I'll have to think on this one a bit. In general if I can get past my disappointment with online only interaction (which has become rather pointed of late) and the slow way that forums work...I'd say people not really reading what someone is writing. Or at least they read it and seemingly react instantly (in BDF for example) and based of some of the vitriol I wonder if they pray at all when the post. I don't want to sound harsh (sincerely not) but there is so much lost in words when someone is communicating and what they mean could be interpreted many ways, that it'd be nice if people were able to reserve judgement and be a little less apt to read meaning into their text. To just confirm what is meant prior to a reply that could sow dissention or at the very least hard feelings.

Sometimes I feel things need to be said. There's no reason not to cool off before they are though...there are many challenges on a forum and a good deal more with the users that a thread would allow me to compile my thoughts a little more productively. Good question :)

hmm...same question I suppose.

I actually don’t have a favourite tv show as per say, lol when I was younger I use to watch WWE (old wrestling) but now, I watch whatever looks and sounds good I guess.

I agree with your post 100%... sometimes it doesn’t come down to what’s been said, but how it’s said/received. English isn’t my first language so sometimes I struggle with writing the appropriate response/reply, which sometimes can be taken out of context. If only there were audible “replies” on here, that would make it easy for me, although another problem arising from that would be - would y’all understand my accent 😂

So I guess we’ll stick with the question that I’ve asked previous to this post so we’re not doubling up. But thanks for taking the time to answer:)

That's a nifty idea actually. A little record button next to attach files or in a drop down menu where you can make an audio bite of your post. At the same time even that sometimes can have issues. I have a deep voice so it can cause people to typically be silent when they would speak out via typing. I actually kind of like typing for that reason...Some people listen to my voice just because they like the sound, I could be reading an instruction manual. This allows me to just be myself without worrying about vocal tone, or "hogging the mic". I get one little posted note and then someone else has a chance to post one...it's a bit more fair. I have been meaning to check out the chat rooms, so maybe I will at some point. This also causes me to be a bit more succinct in a way that I wouldn't be as much when speaking. Note: not all people like my voice, some can't stand me lol. It just changes things a bit, but not the "heart" and I've had experiences through many formats where I get to connect with people that way. That's what I look for, and ideally some also do the same.

The question...TV shows?!? I watched a few episodes of something last night online, an old anime that I liked at one point about a year ago. Ended up turning it off due to content I didn't see before. I've tried a few other times this year to watch it, but same thing. other than that? I haven't watched TV in years, not a whole lot of Godly shows. I'm not opposed to real life nature shows though, or informational...I'm sure this is meant to be lighthearted and normally I'd pass up such a question.

Historically... smallville and Dragon ball Z were my favorite TV shows, I won't dissect and share my current insights but I definitely liked them at one point.

Lol serious about DBZ? Cause I was a fan of that show growing up as well. My fav was Trunks :) glad to know someone else on here shared the same taste haha. If I had to watch tv shows, it would normally be about true stories, documentaries, wild life, or testimonies.

Sometimes if I feel like laughing, I’d see if there are any worthy comedies worth watching. Also, low voices are usually more mellow and easier on the ear....,I just read your post in Bing Crosby’s voice :p

Lol@your question.... well, funnily enough I was at my desk, pondering what to ask you and Ruby, hence my question about the challenges one faces on CC :)

Are you the only child and if not, where are you in terms of sibling order?

LOL I had a trunks doll (action figure ;) ) that was like a stuffed animal 2.0 around when I was 6-9ish? idr for sure, but I kept the habit for long past most people. I had the child trunks first and then I was especially enamored of the SSJ trunks b/c it had this little plastic ball you could shoot out of his hands. There's some stuff to analyze about DBZ for sure. The only dreams I about it I can distinctly recall was a dream about me standing near the entrance to snake way and being in fear of falling off but that I had to do it.

I hadn't ever heard Bing Crosby's voice before (maybe on a record at some point but I listened to a sample just now) but yeah that's not my speaking voice...but I can sing like that quite well. This past holiday season I asked my step-dad if it was good because it seemed too easy. He just said my voice was made for music like that (he's a music teacher and does choral conducting)...It was news to me. Just succinctly said, so at least I know there's a musical style I just love and comes easily. Tons of modern music requires a lot of effort for me.

Alas, that genre is in the past ...Although maybe there's a cool worship music genre that I could join someday like Bill Gaither-esk something somewhere.

I'm talkative tonight...I digress.

Uh...no I have 4 siblings that are either a single parent sibling or both and 2 step siblings

So hmm...My mother had two children before she married my father (fraternal twins) and then me and my younger sister.
They divorced when I was young and when she remarried a step sister and when I was 8 a brother.

Sister, sister, me, sister, brother + a step-sister and a step-brother from different marriages.

I was the only boy on both my dad's side of the family (aunts/uncles children) and on my mom's side of the family until I was like 6 or 7 and when the rest of the boys showed up on my mother's side (none on my fathers) I was just out of their age bracket.

So surrounded by tons of females ha.

I like that Gaithers song “he touched me” :) cool, well if you’ve discovered now that you have potentially a unique singing voice, then by all means you should pursue it, especially if your stepdad has mentioned it. I think nowadays, people with unique skills or talents are what seperates them from the rest of others. I use to write songs but I also can’t read music, but only play by ear.

Okay back to the question at hand, lol funny you say that you come from a family of females, when that’s exactly what my family and extended family consist of. My mother says that her father (my grandfather) had prayed for our family to have many women in it because he believes women are like “flowers” to families, they keep everyone engaged, they are beautiful and they bring joy to people - now my family is female dominated in numbers. I’m the second eldest of four girls lol.

well, all this typing has got me hungry lol tonight is chicken night, well kfc actually haha.

Which brings me to my next question for whoever wishes to answer.......what is your favourite dish? 😊

Well it's late for me so last Q/A ...

Favorite dish...That's so broad of a question lol. Umm, I suppose lately I've been a big fan of patty melts (hamburger, cheese, mayo, mustard, red onions on bread toasted with garlic and butter). I did make a great Ham and cheese leondardo I learned to make at Marco's pizza. This was from a large amount of food supplies my sister got from where she worked because they couldn't be open.

Ham, provolone, cheese, mayo on a sub bun toasted. Excellente.

I also really like a party food made with sausage, cheese, and bisquik. It's really simple, but it's all rolled into round balls. Made with turkey or pork or even beef sausage if you prefer. Quite unhealthy but much like in my family. I made wayy too many batches so I can't say it's my favorite at the moment but it was for a solid 2 months.

Since I'm tired. If you subscribe to the duality, are you a morning person or a night person?

Definitely a night person. Although, I do sometimes like waking up to the warmth of the suns rays hitting my room and the sound of the birds chirping away - it makes me thankful to God that He’s blessed me with another day in my life.

All that food you mentioned made me hungry.

Most definitely a night person, I just love there being less people but not "no people". The birds you mentioned typically signal that I've stayed up farrr too late and now will have to deal with the rising sun. I prefer like 60% day 40% night. So I at least like sleeping some of the day away for more dark hours. Love being outside with just the moon and the stars.

Any time something gets to be a late night 5am is the latest cutoff because that's right before the birds start lol.

I do like birds though. I "can" get up early but I don't "wake up" until about 11-noon even if my schedule is getting up at 6 or 7 am.
Even with early work, I still usually go to sleep by 12 or 1 and get less sleep.

I think if it was just me, midnight would be a typical bed time as opposed to 1-3.

Light snowfall, but we don’t get much of that in east Texas😂.

Why is there high tide?
