That is HALF of the remnants in JERUSALEM, not Half of today's population. So I do not see more than 288,000 in JERUSALEM, before they flee into EXILE. How many are LEFT, probably the 144,000. With that LARGE OF AN ARMY attacking, MOST JEWS WOULD HAVE backed up to Jerusalem to launch an all out DEFENSE. Now look at the ONES that STAYED, until the LORD ARRIVED.

The REST were killed, REST OF WHAT? I think it is obvious the REST of the ENEMY COMBATANTS. P0PULATION OF ISRAEL could be 0 at that time.

It looks like we can agree that there are definitely survivors of the nations. All that I can add is that in my opinion there will be survivors of both the scattered Jews, as well as some of those within the boundaries of Israel, who have made it through the tribulation by some manner or other just as those of the nations have.

Yes, and the main purpose for the 144,000 is to repopulate ISRAEL, with mortals.

What is significant is this Guy, Really believes this find could be all that they suspect it is, and he is Ze've Orenstein, Director of Int'l Affairs, City of David. He could play a Very important role, in convincing the Israel Antiquities Authority, who would have to approve of this find.
