Will the mark alone send a person to eternal damnation?

666 = 6 hundreds + 6 tens + 6 ones
666 = 0 hundreds + 66 tens + 6 ones
666 = 0 hundreds + 0 tens + 666 ones.

You have now counted the number 666 in all the ways it can be counted. Does 66 ring a bell? Does 6 ring a bell?

The mark of the beast is any 6 that ADDS TO the 66.

Agree it is a package deal. It also has an order of precedence, the worship comes first the mark comes second. You receive the mark because you are already a worshiper of the beast.

Just yesterday a buddy of mine asked if they put it in the rear end would it still be considered the mark of the beast. He was dead serious.

When the vaccines become mandatory and the dispensationalist still haven’t been raptured, you can look for a brand new definition of the mark of the beast coming from the dispensationalist camp. Guaranteed!

I don’t believe it’s the mark of the beast, but apparently, some people do. According to Revelation 13, the mark of the beast will not be something that we are tricked into taking. It will be no accident. We will be well aware of what we are doing when that time comes and refusing to take it will cost us our lives.

The mark of the beast will be ineffably and unmistakably apparent for what it actually is.
The fact that it is a choice of conscience is made apparent by Revelation 14:7, as the final warning given by the angel flying in the midst of heaven, preaching the everlasting gospel, is ignored, and the final and fateful choice is made by the earth dwellers.

Well notice the word phrasing in your first scripture passage, it says if any man worship the beast and his image and recieve his mark on his forehead or hand.
So in essence the word and I think answers the question, it appears that one must first have already pledged their allegiance to worship him and his image and recieving the mark is an outward declaration of that allegiance.
We also recieve a mark when we pledge our allegiance to God - the holy spirit. ours is an inner mark that cannot be seen with human eyes whiles theirs will be an outer mark which is actually very relevant.
We are saved by faith and with our hearts, people can go to church and can act the part showing an outward appearance of Godliness but in fact may not be saved at all

You beat me down with smart comments when all I’m doing is believing exactly what the Bible says. I’ve already shown that the Bible teaches the mark alone is not enough and the identity of the mark of the beast is you, a 6, adding to the 66.

Why do you have a beef with that, seems like you’d be happy learning something new. I know I was happy when God showed it to me. Reprobate mind maybe... idk. Repent.

Where does the Bible say the mark of the beast will be ineffably and unmistakably apparent for what it actually is?

Is this another example of you, a 6, adding
to the 66? You see how easy it is to see who has the mark of the beast.

I’m assuming that everyone on the thread knows the meaning of 6 and 66. 6 is the number man and 66 is the number of the word of God I.e. 66 books in the Bible. 66 decorations on the candlesticks in exodus etc.
