i could explain that it's a little-known but very useful built-in part of windows, that easily and simply takes screenshots of whatever you crop, and lets you doodle on them - but would i take the time to do that?

am i the kind of person who would suggest hitting the windows button, searching 'snipping tool' and right-clicking on the .exe result and selecting "pin to taskbar" so you always have it handy?
