Are you catholic believing in works based salvation?
No.
I'm a 1 John 3:7-10 believer.

7Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; 8the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. 9No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother.

Works have nothing to do with making a person righteous. Works show that a person has the righteousness of God. Ultimately, people who do not have the evidence of God's righteousness in them don't have God's righteousness. They have yet to be born again by the Spirit of God.

Thus you preach the heresy of works based salvation.

You aren't yet saved.
Your slander is uncalled for and that judgment call is well above your pay grade. Your true colors are obvious. :cautious:

Having faith in Christ's atonement to save isn't hollow. Demons don't have that faith.

If you trust in your good works for evidence you have saving faith, your evil works prove you lack saving faith. And you aren't saved! It boils down to that.
Assurance that you are saved comes from how you live.
For example:

"13Those who have served well gain an excellent standing and great assurance in their faith in Christ Jesus." - 1 Timothy 3:13

Pick up your
James talks about faith in one God and not about the faith in Christ's atonement which saves apart from works.
Now I have heard it all...what boasting that you believe that you can correct GOD´S WORD and that James was somehow, incorrect?

If it was grace which worked through paul, how could the work become his labor let alone the reward be based on his labor?
Because Paul was banged up...and didn´t care anymore about his earthly vessel...he rather, wanted to fill up in his flesh what was lacking according to the afflictions of CHRIST...Paul was at the end of the line, looking the picture of death...

That was his ¨labor¨

So you don't have the assurance you are saved?
I guess the only way one could have assurance, (according to you) is if they LOOK and ARE the picture of HEALTH...

If you trust in your evil works to disprove you have saving faith.
"The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. 8The one who does what is sinful is of the devil..." - 1 John 3:7-8

"5Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires." - Romans 8:5

The person who has the mindset of the flesh does not have the Spirit of God. The person with the Spirit does not have the mindset of the flesh:

"9You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you." - Romans 8:9

Is forgiving others "faith"?

If you think your forgiveness proves you have saving faith, you aren't saved.
If you have wronged a brother, sir...what are YOU supposed to do, according to GOD´S WORD?

Your trust in your works to prove you have saving faith is absolutely no different from trusting in works based salvation. You cannot prove it otherwise.
You´re not supposed to....prove it.

I still say scripture is the best proof. Some may not “feel” the Holy Spirit in their lives. Feelings are never good proof. Scripture states that the believer has the seal of the Holy Spirit. That’s good enough for me.
No, that's not good enough.
Peter says to make every effort to confirm that you are saved:

"10Therefore, my brothers and sisters, a make every effort to confirm your calling and election." - 2 Peter 1:10

You abuse the 1John3 passage to suit your degree of sinfulness in order to prove you have saving faith. That is works based salvation as follows:
Claim 1: Works prove saving faith.
Claim 2: Saving faith saves.
Your conclusion: Lack of works means no salvation.

Thus you preach the heresy of works based salvation.

You aren't yet saved.
Sudakar, Claim 2 should be 1, then claim 1 should be second. Salvation is a done deal. GOOD works follow salvation as James points out. You have added EVIL works to the works that James has mentioned, wherein the works that are referred to are GOOD works, if a person does not do, then his salvation has no substance of proof.

I call Jesus Himself to my defense.
(John 10:32)
Jesus answered them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you going to stone me?”

FROM THE FATHER
Do your evil works speak for your lack of saving faith?

Recent from heresy and be saved. You will face God's wrath soon.
Your tongue, according to James 3: through James 3:12, cancels out your personal testimony to Matthew 5:48 and puts you, according to Paul, in the same category explained in Romans 2:1 through Romans 2:11

Life without the assurance of saving faith is miserable.

Faith is the assurance/confidence one is an elect of God.
Faith is the assurance of what is HOPED FOR...and the evidence of things that are not seen...

There is ONE thing that all HIS ELECT HOPE for...

Do you know what that is?
