Stepping stone to the mark of the beast? Revelation 13:16 - He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

But wouldn't the mark be an irremovable one? Though it would be terribly painful to remove a chip or mar a tattoo, it can be done..

ok well I always thought money was a croc and they wouldnt have it at all in Heaven where the streets are paved with gold and everything is free.

Imagine being told at the pearly gates sorry you cant come in it costs $99 entry fee. And when you do get in you find out you have to pay for your own icecream.

But that is the world today who wants to make a buck.

I do not believe the mark will be a chip.
I will tell you why.
A chip only works as long as there is electrical power to power the scanner.
Ever been in a store when their system went down or the power went off?
If you look at Scripture, sixth seal and so forth, it seems that power grids, cell towers, and satellites will not be working.
If that is true, a chip would be of no use, but a visible mark would work fine.
Now I also believe that todays technology has prepared the public to accept a mark.
First it was checks, then credit and debit cards, now phone apps.
A chip is the next step.
I am old school. I still use cash for all purchases.

well we are sealed too as believers eith the seal of God in our foreheads according to Revelation. Maybe a seal is different from a mark? I just think of those dots that hindu women wear on their foreheads like bindis.

I dont know if anyone on here is Swedish and can tell us what its really like in Sweden with these current events.

Once it is installed, isn't it conceivable that it would not permit you to remove it? Like a virus. Remember, Bill Gates is the poster boy for this thing, and he invented the biggest computer virus of all time.

Either way, probably much easier to remove from a right hand than a forehead.

Since we have to choose to either follow God and accept the gift of salvation or not I believe it is more of our choice than an actual marking. God knows who belongs to Him and who doesn't.

The mark in the forehead is one who has purposed in their heart to follow the beast and agrees with that full heartedly and the mark in the hand is one that does not really go along with the beast power but because they want to buy and sell go along with it anyway as they have no real connection with God either. At least that is my thoughts...

Personally I don't want to be marked with a chip of any kind as I don't want to be followed or tracked and before you say you are already being followed with your phone.... I don't have a cell phone personally. Jerry has a trac phone. Me I'm old school with a land line....good luck with following me... You will have to do it on foot or in a car....lol

My credit cards maybe you can follow what I purchase that's about it....

I would rather not have a smartphone but this guy from a church I used to attend saw I didnt have one and sold me his old one.
Its getting full of data so I may have to ditch it and go without. I have a landline at work and I dont go out and about too much so I dont really need one.

Nobody I know who has one really wanted one, when they first came out years ago (cellphones) I recall as a teen that NOBODY really wanted the hassle of having one. Plus it is known how damaging the radiation from tthem could be and NOBODY wanted those towers.

and they were kind of pushed on us. I studied in singapore for a semmster where everyone had one and people looked at me weird cos I didnt have one. They called them handphones.

even one of my friends who went missing at the time she hated them be uase ppl were always trying to take pictures of her with them (pxts) and get her number. all she wanted to do was ring home but she got out of credit and range so went to the nearest house to do it. ringing the police didnt help as they refused to come get her when she was feeling harassed. the meergency number is meant to be free thats why people would call it as it costs to call...it still costs now but internet has made much phone calls free but you still need to pay for each call on a mobile.

I should have said if you really want me to have one (the guy at church) then why should I pay for one. I think I offered him $20 bucks for it, it was new, but I still have to pay for the calls.
They are a nuisance and a pain actually.

My last job the boss was constantly yacking on his phone and not doing any work. He was lucky he could txt me to communicate a little but no he did not provide me with a work phone so I could have just ditched my personal one since I was payong for each txt I sent.

Isn't there a way to delete the data?

I was there in September and it is pretty much a cashless society but for tourists, you can use cash in some places. It is not an evil society. They are not worshipping any evil man. Nothing remarkable about the society or people.

They are more heavily socialistic than other places and so the attitude of those who serve you in restaurants as compared to say, the US, is pretty bad. They get paid the same whether they smile or are on time or do nothing. YOu can imagine the outcome. Reminded me of Red China. Just a side note, for service in restaurants or shops or grocery stores, no place beats the US. The Europeans who go there all remark at how friendly the US is. Number one for customer service, not that that is a part of this thread.

the reference to the mark of the beast in Revelation implies that it will be a mark on the skin, not something implanted under the skin

the reference to the mark of the beast in Revelation implies that it will be a mark on the skin, not something implanted under the skin
Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

chi xi stigma
khee xee stig'-ma
The 22nd, 14th and an obsolete letter (G4742 as a cross) of the Greek alphabet (intermediate between the 5th and 6th), used as numbers; denoting respectively 600, 60 and 6; 666 as a numeral: - six hundred threescore and six.

stigma
stig'-mah
From a primary word στίζω stizō (to “stick”, that is, prick); a mark incised or punched (for recognition of ownership), that is, (figuratively) scar of service: - mark.

The mark is something under the skin linked to satellite to track people on earth, cut down on crime for if a crime happens they will know who was in the area, and how close they were to the crime scene.

And can find lost people, or whoever they want to find.

With all information about them on the chip.

Which an USAF pilot that been to China said that the government eventually wants all information about you, inside of you.

The beast's agenda is there is no personal God to help mankind, but mankind's technology can help to achieve peace on earth, and things operate smoother and better.

The world will know the beast's agenda, and worship him before they take the mark.

When they take the mark then salvation is no longer available to them and God can end sin on earth.

People that take it now still can have salvation for they are not doing it for the same reason as when it is the mark of the beast.

But they want to make it a popular concept now.

As well as use nanotechnology for the coronavirus crisis that will be able to track people, and monitor them, which Bill Gates wants everyone vaccinated.

This will condition the world to prepare them for the coming mark of the beast, because they are already used to being tracked so the world will not mind being chipped to cut down on crime.
