Can you show me scripture where it says OSAS?

I am confused over it....thank you.
Rom. 3:23-25 - Through Christ's death we are "Justified freely" (made right with God).

His death provides: "Redemption" (we are bought back to God),
"Propitiation" (a settlement of our sin debt),
"Remission [forgiveness] of sins."

It's all by God's "Grace" not our works.

Find a verse, passage anywhere in the Bible where God undoes any of these actions.

You will not find "unjustified" in the Bible.

Physical birth ONCE, no one is un-birthed, returns to their mothers womb

Spiritually "born from above" ONCE not undone.

John 3 1-21

I wonder where people's manners are when the correct biblical doctrine of "eternally saved (OSAS) by grace through faith apart from

works lest any man should boast" is expounded by us in hopes to bring someone out of false teaching and defend the Gospel.... we

are then in turn ACCUSED of promoting licentiousness, lawlessness and a Christian walk devoid of good works.

It is amusing how you felt you had to defend yourself on a general post like this. You weren’t even the person attacking Puli.....

You are correct. The other thinks it’s merely changing your mind, cut and dry cause she’s got a Greek dictionary to defend herself against remorse.

I don’t agree with changing your mind.....for me it’s about changing ones heart and asking God to help you do it.

It’s whats in my heart that I lay before the Lord...ask him to help me change it.

I will always defend anyone who upholds the truth.

I am wholly against those who distort the work of Christ Jesus and the very nature of God, to promote a false narrative of salvation based on human effort of attaining and maintaining.

"Mind" in Greek was the seat of man... the very essence of his being.
You are using a modern western lens.

I see you’re a snarky little nit. Your original question regarded being a murderer but now you’ve conveniently upped the ante to serial murderer. That’s nothing more than you trying to prove a point without simply stating your point.

Tell me snarky one, why would you, an alleged Christian, desire to be an unrepentant serial killer? What kind of barbaric ideas lie within your head? You should do in Scripture teaches us, and that is to keep your eyes focused on the Lord.

Just so that you know, this is the "work of Christ" you are busy defending...

Nonsense. You accuse me of an accusatory tone all the while accusing me. If that is not ironic.

So for you, it is just changing your mind. No sorrow for what you did to other people like falsely accuse them of having an accusatory tone, is that it? Just having a different mind or deciding to do something different.

Is that on the scale of deciding to have the hamburger instead of the salad or deciding that maybe speaking falsely about others is something that you find is not to your liking and so you decide to change your words without having to bother to ask forgiveness of GOd and man. Is that what repentance is for you? Simply changing your mind about a matter. Pretty cheap. Peter fell down at the feet of Jesus and was not merely changing his mind either about his own self-righteousness nor about any other matter. He actually repented of his sins, not changed his mind, dry and emotionless.

For anyone interested, the report of anyone who repented before God was one of deep sorrow for what they did wrong, asking forgiveness of God and actually making restitution to the one they had wronged which would have included asking man's forgiveness for the wrong done. It was usually described as an emotional experience. It was not merely changing your mind. Never described as a man simply changed his mind and that was repentance. THat is really cheap "repentance."
Let's try and put it in this context
"Change your mind"
The mind is made up of the following:

Intellect
Peter realized that he rejected/betrayed Jesus

Emotions
he wept bitterly(felt sorrow/pestilence)

Will
Asked for forgiveness and decided to walk in fellowship with Jesus.

Every aspect of the mind played a role in Peter's change of mind.

That is to some degree correct although the emotions do not come from the mind. The mind might reason, “I should feel sorrow” and yet this not generate remorse. The mind is not the master of emotions.

It is NOT ..."Repent! Feel sorry for your sins"?

It was "Metanoia! Think a new way"

That is an entire shift in perspective..... heart and soul.
Jesus never hinted at “think a new way” as the sum of what repentance to God is. Men repenting wept. That is not the mind thinking, “better weep.”

I ask again, when you have wronged people by your sin, do you consider merely thinking a new way sufficient?

The heart is definitely involved when you wrong someone knowingly......God would like us to apologise with a sincere heart...that’s my belief.
I agree...
When I have wronged someone since being a Christian , I feel I cannot rest...
I confess to God that I have wronged that person , and as hard as it has been in some circumstances , He has given me the strength to approach that person and admit my wrong doing , and in return , the LORD has even restored my relationship with the person , although this person I am talking about is not a believer...

Gods love is amazing \ :)/

I know I have hurt many before I was born again , and I have truly repented , and I know with all my heart , should God put these people on my path again , I will confess my wrongs to them should the subject be brought up...

There is such beauty having a clear conscience Amen...

We are being accused of it by some my dear sister, that is why I said “reek of dishonesty”.
Ask her her view of Israel, Revelation and a few other things....You will find out that she is no sister of one who believes the bible and the promises God made unto Abraham, Isaac and ISRAEL!!

My friend, there is not one church with a perfect doctrine in Revelation and I doubt that any one person on this site have the perfect knowledge of the Bible. I know we all think we have but there was one perfect Teacher.

If Christ is your Saviour we all part of the same family :) .

You can explain how if you wish. The fruit is the same. Assurance of heaven no matter what evil you do has bad fruit in way too many.
Apathy in your relationship with God. If we do nothing, it is not good for our relationship. If you believe nothing can change how close or distant you are to God you can become apathetic in your relationship. Good things, fruits, come from God (all glory to Him), but the Spirit of God works greater in those that have a relationship with Him.
1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

Are you saying that if I go out and deliberately hurt someone....I’m not to feel sorry for what I have done?

I have found that once I understood obedience....that is when my relationship changed dramatically with the Lord.....all to glorify him of course.
