One thing I believe the Lord has taught me....is..........keep the personal jibes out of the conversation.....it’s childish and quite honestly says a lot about the poster....

I like to disagree and keep the finger pointing out of it!.....as it’s far from fruitful......IMO.
Lol. And another point I would like to make to clear the air:
I completely reject "Kumbaya Christianity" where all views are equally true and equally valid, the ultimate goal being for everyone to just get along in the here and now to make the world a better place.

The truth of the gospel has very little in the way of wiggle room in my opinion. And it has zero room for preterism, Israel hating, Jew hating, and the outright denial of the plain teaching of Scripture.

However if you want to hitch your wagon to DorothyMae's train going to hell by all means do so.
I however know better now, after many many similar experiences and encounters with false prophets false teachers and false doctrine.

Personal jives... how about accusing of things that are not true?

There isn’t any anyway. No scripture says love means to share what you think is the truth. Jesus knew the truth and kept quiet much of the time. Enjoy your day!!
I find it quite telling that three OSASers disagree with the above statement so far but NONE, not a one, gives a scripture to refute the statement and demonstrate their position.

There is something to what you say, because a lot of Christianity nowadays is evangelical Bible thumping which at times makes an effective mockery of God... Our actions should be louder than our mouth. Can't hide that light under a table, people will see the light and go themselves to ask because it will sway them invisibly... There's a monk who said, if you have peace of God inside, by your peace alone you will save thousands. But all that being said, there are a lot of people who want to hear about God, but are not always voicing it. As an unbeliever, I was always interested to hear about God without exception, even though I scoffed at times, which was mostly for my lack of understanding of God's character and wanting Him to fit my ideas (Old testament is the stumbling block for most unbelievers). If we keep quiet because we assume people don't want to hear, and people are thirsting to hear, this is a big loss... Jesus was also at the sinagogue teaching every day yet His actions were even louder. It's good to engage people with the Gospel as long as it's in a Spirit prompted times and ways, leaving out speaking when not led, or pointless arguing. I see where you're coming from, I'm just saying there is a fine balance to it...

You may find it interesting that jackrosie is a brand-new member, It is fully supportive of every single post of DorothyMae, and espousing ignorance or outright rebuke of all of the other knowledgeable and biblically astute posters on this thread.

I am not much of a conspiracy theorist but perhaps we have a troll tag team working this thread!!??? Could it be?

Great. But you can't preach the gospel if you don't know it. And if you're gonna preach it you had better understand the correct and proper Biblical doctrines.

And preterism is not one of them. Neither is amillennialism, nor this bizarre doctrine being espoused that God has utterly abandoning the Jewish nation forevermore.

First, I am not a preterist nor did I ever say God abandoned Jewish people (where did you even get that from?). Second, interpretations about Biblical prophecy (aside Messianic which got fulfilled, so speculations about the future) is not the gospel. So, please leave me alone and if you're itching for a fight, go fight someone I'm the wrong person for that.

Who is to say that you are preaching the proper biblical doctrines and their meanings....some may agree with your teaching......I agree with a little...other than that I don’t agree with your teaching.....

You can’t bully people into believing....what you believe.....with respect......I can agree with what I believe to be truth...just as you do......

As for agreeing with every single one of DorothyMae posts....that is not true...be careful what you accuse members of....or are you the boss here....

I’m afraid the OSAS posts do not demonstrate this joy in obedience. The command to love your opponent is not apparent.
Christians who understand eternal security focus their joy on what God has done rather than what they themselves do.

And you referring to Christians as opponents forces me to ask who it is you serve.

Read my post again. They view those who don’t embrace their theology as opponents.

But you are likely right in that their joy is in what they got, not what they give.

You are mistaken I wasn't referring to you when I was speaking about these heresies.
I was speaking about DorothyMae. I am sure you were not privy to many of these posts that I am witness to.

I never heard anyone say you’re against obeying. We say you make it an optional extra. Or you wait until you feel like obeying (filled with love) which clearly is not 24/7.
Loving God and placing one’s faith in Him is in and of itself obedience to the 1st Commandment and Greatest Commandments.
