Who is to say that you are preaching the proper biblical doctrines and their meanings....some may agree with your teaching......I agree with a little...other than that I don’t agree with your teaching.....

You can’t bully people into believing....what you believe.....with respect......I can agree with what I believe to be truth...just as you do......

As for agreeing with every single one of DorothyMae posts....that is not true...be careful what you accuse members of....or are you the boss here....
Who is to say????? It may interest you to know that the proper biblical doctrines are in fact absolutely correctly understood by Holy Spirit indwelt Christians. In fact there is no possible way to know them otherwise. And Jesus does guarantees that you will know them by the way. If you are a true disciple that is.

You are mistaken I wasn't referring to you when I was speaking about these heresies.
I was speaking about DorothyMae. I am sure you were not privy to many of these posts that I am witness to.
No I am not reading the whole thread I simply replied to one post that seemed interesting. It would help to be more clear when addressing people because you quoted my post so I made a natural assumption, is all. It's not so strange here to be falsely accused here of any -ism whether the thread is related or not.

There is something to what you say, because a lot of Christianity nowadays is evangelical Bible thumping which at times makes an effective mockery of God... Our actions should be louder than our mouth. Can't hide that light under a table, people will see the light and go themselves to ask because it will sway them invisibly... There's a monk who said, if you have peace of God inside, by your peace alone you will save thousands. But all that being said, there are a lot of people who want to hear about God, but are not always voicing it. As an unbeliever, I was always interested to hear about God without exception, even though I scoffed at times, which was mostly for my lack of understanding of God's character and wanting Him to fit my ideas (Old testament is the stumbling block for most unbelievers). If we keep quiet because we assume people don't want to hear, and people are thirsting to hear, this is a big loss... Jesus was also at the sinagogue teaching every day yet His actions were even louder. It's good to engage people with the Gospel as long as it's in a Spirit prompted times and ways, leaving out speaking when not led, or pointless arguing. I see where you're coming from, I'm just saying there is a fine balance to it...
Do you still want to know about God?

Many can say they have the Holy Spirit dwelling within their spirit....that doesn’t mean they have...plenty of false prophets out there....yeah...you certainly know them by their fruit.

I am a Christian, I was talking about myself in the past. English isn't my native language. I realized how it might be misunderstood only after the edit time ran out.
OK. It was just a question. I thought your post nice.

But you are likely right in that their joy is in what they got, not what they give.
Again, it is not either/or, it is both. That said, let us not forget that the one who is forgiven more will love God more. Jesus demonstrates this by word and deed in Luke 7.

How do explain the man who was forgiven much but who refused to forgive his fellow man a wee bit?

There isn’t any anyway. No scripture says love means to share what you think is the truth. Jesus knew the truth and kept quiet much of the time. Enjoy your day!!
No, we are mostly Born Again Believers, which means we have the Holy Spirit in us, to teach us the Truth. Most of us, including me, believe HE has guided us into the TRUTH about Scriptures.

Jesus only kept Quiet to fulfill prophecy before the Sanhedrin and Roman Judges.

Matthew 27:12-14 (NASB)
12 And while He was being accused by the chief priests and elders, He did not answer.
13 Then Pilate *said to Him, "Do You not hear how many things they testify against You?"
14 And He did not answer him with regard to even a single charge, so the governor was quite amazed.

Isaiah 53:7 (NCV)
7 He was beaten down and punished, but he didn’t say a word. He was like a lamb being led to be killed. He was quiet, as a sheep is quiet while its wool is being cut; he never opened his mouth.

So, it was to FULFILL Prophecy about HIM, that HE never opened HIS mouth in HIS DEFENSE, while on Trial.

So let's see if HE SPOKE AGAINST THOSE WHO PROCLAIM A FALSE DOCTRINE ? ? ?

Mat. 7:3-6

Mat. 7:13

Mat 7:15-19

Mat. 7:20-23

Mat 7:28-29

Mat. 15:6-9

Mat. 22:18-22

Mat. 23:13-38

Now that is JUST part of one book, where HE CONFRONTED False Doctrines and even to their faces. So should I go on?

You come in here and I will have a hard time Believing, that trashing OSAS DOCTRINES, was not your purpose. WHY ? ? ?
Look back and see how many slurs and innuendos you made about our Doctrines and most of them were false statements, in my opinion. Like I said, I have been involved in NUMEROUS evangelical type of Churches, for the past 42 years, and NONE of them taught anything like what you have accused us of. No, I still am not mad, but disappointed.

You are of course absolutely correct. However you will not receive a Biblical refutation to your well composed posting. Nor will you ever to any other.
Thats the way MarthaMae rolls. Its all about how she "feels".

The only thing objectionable in that post is your reaction to it. Should you care (or dare) to refute it BIBLICALLY say on. If indeed you are able.

Ahhhh....no. No I will not waste my breath. You and MM can sing a duo all you want. All I'm going to do is proclaim warnings when I detect heresies.
