Icequeen, I hope that you are having a better day today. I'm sure that you have heard these scriptures before, just thought that I'd give you a friendly reminder. :) When the feeling of lonliness tries to creep up on you pray, you don't have to accept that feeling. For the JOY of the Lord is your strength. God loves you and He understands.

I was once single and longing for a mate but I didn't get him until my focus was God and my desire for God and longing for a closer relationship with him outweighed the desire for a mate. This may not be your situation but just thought I'd leave something to ponder.

Isaiah 26:3
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.


Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

4 Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

I can say all those. I like alliterations. When somebody drops a spray bottle of butter at w*rk I make a comment about a bent butter bottle, and when the bottle will no longer spray of course I mention the broken butter bottle.

But I'm still single... This was a scam!

Well. I have free access to the remote control, but no one to watch a good movie with.

This is not a dating site. Oh. I know. And this is not an attempt to find myself a husband. I guess that project has failed. So I find myself doomed to be single.

Just an observation, but your name (icequeen) might sound a little harsh to others, if by chance you were to be open to finding someone on here. Just saying.....

If no Christians married,then how would they be fruitful and multiply? It would have to be from sex outside of marriage. Peter had a mother in law, so I'm pretty sure he was married :)
