Have you just slapped me with a ruler...lol.
Since you’re laughing I guess not.

But I have a passion for God Himself and will defend Him against the charge of using his power to invade a person such that they have no choice. That sounds very much like evil no matter how pleasureable the event was for the recepient. God woes, He cannot ravage.

The same way He saves anyone JR. By grace through FAITH.

Grace: the divine influence upon the heart with its reflection in the life, including gratitude.

My youngest son asked Jesus to save him at the age of three after hearing my other two ask.

Jesus will have a part some way somehow; even with those who have never heard, yet He appears to them, speaks to them in their mind, and they ask who are you?

As you have said, His ways are diverse....but He makes Himself known.
So can you tell us what happened in your sons adult choices. Being three was a while ago. How did he do with that choice as an adult?

Because she knew about Jesus but did not know it was in the Bible.

When someone told me the Gospel ...... they cited scripture many times and told me this IN the BIBLE.
I think you are looking for things to accuse
sorry but this is just what i see

Nothing she said even came close to insinuating what you asked

I’ve never met a single person who obeyed God who boasted. And I know so many who have. No one who obeys God has the attitude you describe above.

The verse tells the reader to obey. Doesn’t say God is doing it all. Those who find themselves disappointed with their behavior cannot blame God for not willing and not doing enough.

If the many do want to obey God or wait until He overwhelms them with Agape love, they’ll be disappointed. If they insist loving God is not something they need to choose but God does it all, they’ll be disappointed. But He sovereignly lets them stay that way and NEVER EVER forces Himself on anyone as that is evil.
I think you're missing the point of my post. I believed in Jesus, so I am naturally living out what He prepared for me. A person who keeps wallowing in a sinful lifestyle and ignores all warnings, can we say that they ever seriously believed God is real? Doesn't look like that to me.

We don't just receive salvation, we also receive correction. Which is again God's work. I love God so I can't stand His anger or disapproval. When He brings something up, it is painful and definitely not something I (or any born again believer) can just ignore. And that's because He loved me first.

I have no reason to accuse anyone.. I have sought clarity several times and have been met with defensiveness on each occasion.
And I see that she causing dissension much like her friend @DorothyMae

And thank you for judging my motives.

Do you want to mention something about my fruit as well?

Seeking clarity should be important whenever discussing spiritual matters and especially the Word of God

The demons believe God is real and do pretty bad stuff so I don’t think that is the prevention of evil you assume it is. Jesus also talked about those who believe strongly in God and do evil.

I don’t think believing in Jesus means one naturally (without choice?) lives out what his will is. Jesus actually told us to pray His will be done which assumes it isn’t naturally done.

Now you have a tender heart but I assure you there are those who are born again true christians who don’t. They don’t walk inHis will and it’s pretty obvious. So that’s where I think you a bit naive. When you’ve seen enough of what stubborn hearts born again believers have at times, you’ll see what I mean.

Eleventh-Hour, why is EG (whom I respect) nitpicking you over your conversations with her?
Because I think there is misunderstanding on both sides. And it has raised to the level where no one is listening to the other.

I see dissension on this thread and I do not see it from EleventhHour
Thank you.:)

No one who knows me out side of CC would ever state that I do not try to exercise objectivity as best I can and to impute things to me

that are not there does not help the discussion but only causes further dissension.

Very sad.

I see you being defensive also sis. Your angry she keeps attacking you and I understand.
I am not attacking you sis just trying to get you to see

I have heard her gospel. She believes what you and I do yet you keep attacking her most likely because she tried to come at Dorothy from a different perspective because she did not know here like we do

I made the same mistake and confused her as a false teacher

I think honestly you all should take a break from each other for a bit. It has been ugly to look at this thread the past few days
