Funny seeing people in here arguing about God's grace, something they really don't believe in as they teach God chose them because he saw they'd choose him, so based on that he decided to save them.

That isn't grace at all. It's merited favor.

Carry on.

Whatever that means.
It means instead of fostering a vital relationship with God, OSASers are encouraged read read words on a piece of paper to assure themselves they are saved. It’s like reading your marriage license to assure yourself you’re married. Talking to your beloved is better.

Are you purposely lying or simply ill-informed? I promise you my relationship with God is exponentially closer and better than you think or want to believe.

I don’t believe in works salvation so that works for me.
That was a typo is should have read...... "It will not work"

And what will not work are your antics, to cause dissension... you are limited to the support of ONE person.. notice that?

Tell me have you apologized to @dcontroversal for falsify his words.

You know that sin has no atonement in your book?

Which book of fables in that in that you are reading ... it surely is not the Bible.

None of you talk about your relationship with God as your assurance of salvation. None. It’s therefore a logical conclusion. You guys just say you can’t lose your salvation. No mention of God at all. Start doing differently. Be a trend setter. First on your block to mention your relationship with God in the same sentence as you’re eternally saved.

Dorothy..what you say here..is completely false.

With the greatest of respect.....once again you don’t know what “Born again “ means......correct me someone if this is wrong.
You remind me of someone who is still in the world....
That is exactly what you keep saying ...you had no choice. That means He forced you. What else is there? And you keep repeating it. Stop saying God came to you and you had no choice but to surrender. It was not of your own free will.

Wrong. No typo. Otherwise you just want insult.

What else is there but to accept the Truth when it (and He) has been irrevocably and undeniably presented? Return to one's vomit? Being given a choice and having had the fear of God instilled and firmly established, wisdom dictates one response only.

Funny how you think you are so special god chose you over others. Then you sit there and deny it

People who place faith in god can not boast. But you boast in the fact you were chosen over others and deny it

So sad

Oh and yes,........ you do believe works save because a "losable salvation" inherently has to be a works salvation... so you an own up to

that too while you are at....but you won't will you, you prefer you little "drive by" postings rather than fully expounding your dogma!!

I’m starting to get angry now..so I must put you on ignore.

Serious question , looking to learn :)...
Is God`s calling not irresistible , I mean , when Jesus called Matthew , Peter , Andrew etc , did they not just drop their nets and follow , and Matthew left his stall and followed...
I see this calling irresistible , but like I said , I am still learning...
Is the elect different from the calling of God to others?...
...xox...
Good question Rosemary. I’ve always wondered why they dropped their work and left with Jesus. I know they were looking for Messiah to come did they think they would get in on the ground floor of a new business so to speak? What were they expecting at the time?

Oh yes Calvin formulated "The doctrines of Grace".... what grace it that I wonder .. oh yes the redefined grace, where God withholds

His love from humanity and Grace is compulsion.

Yes .....all to preserve a skewed unbiblical view of God's sovereignty to the point where this God, is also viewed by some, as the author of evil all for His Glory.

Where is there "merit" in choice when all have choice ....NONE

But there sure is boat load of FAVORITISM in Calvin's schema

Stone, you really don’t know me at all but feel very free to call be a bigot. Please stop falsely accusing me of many things including being a racist. It’s untrue. You should have much confidence at w in your own understanding as you are very wrong.
If you lived his word you wouldn’t have said I don’t care much for Jews. You would love truth not lies. You told a whopper.
I remember our conversation Dottie and how you spoke of being in Israel, and what you saw. Being married to a Jew, it stuck fully in my mind.

So talking to God keeps you saved?

What exactly keeps you saved, are you willing to really unveil what you believe?

I find it very telling that the greater portion, if not all of your posts, are trying to refute OSAS... are you so insecure in your dogma?

Why is it that God's full forgiveness troubles you so much..... having to preach against it?

Is it that you cannot handle others having "full forgiveness" because you have not accepted it for yourself?
