Hi everyone! As the theme of the forum says I am "new" here. I am a long time Christian who currently does not have a Church home. I'd love to make some good Christian friends to chat with and just have some people to bounce things off with. I hate strife, I love... love, and I do love talking about our Savior and decoding all the wonderful Words and Puzzles He left us to know Him better!!

Hello there and welcome. This is a great forum and so glad to see you here.
It can get a little rough and tumble but you'll get used to it lol.

All I can say is praise Lord Jesus Messiah! Praise his Holy Name!

Rev 5:12,13
saying in a loud voice: "Worthy is the Lamb having been slain, to receive the power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing!"

And I heard every creature which is in heaven, and upon the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and everything in them, saying: "To the One sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb, blessing and honor and glory and might to the ages of the ages."

You will find that there will be plenty of Christian people to bounce things off here and to possibly become friends with. I enjoyed the part of your post about decoding all the wonderful Words and Puzzles. I find that the bible has plenty of Words and Puzzles. Talking about our Savior is what happens here. As for being new, we all were new once so just relax and be yourself. Glad to have you join our family. Welcome to CC.

WELCOME!
there's much to learn/glean from this precious site...
also, 'strife' is a REAL part of any one's life,
and we all have to learn how to deal with it,
in a Christ-ly manner...

Hey P4C! Long time Christian without a church home. I can SOO relate to that. I am watching online services, and have been so desiring to be where God wants me, and feel like I'm floating around not really settling anywhere. It's a lot harder to find a church home now too. Glad to meet you. I hope you find a lot of great fellowship here.

Hi @Joy4N8cher, I have tried to watch some on YouTube with varying degrees of success. However having a family, what I am really wanting is good family support for my teenage daughters. I'd love for them to have some good strong Christian friends. I know that requires investment on my part, and it isn't going to happen overnight, but some things have come to my attention lately that wishes we already had that. There isn't a lot of choices where we live as far as places to worship, so that makes it hard too.

@Passion4Christ. Me too. I have watched online services for 2-3 churches some weeks. I do sense the Holy Spirit speaking through it all, but you're so right... it's just not the same as being in a church family. I keep praying for God to capture my 3 kids' hearts and I know He is. Open doors, soft hearts, God's timing... are all I things I pray for, for them. They are a a few years older than yours are... but close in ages I imagine. How long have you been searching for a church family?

We haven't had a Church home since 2015. We were part of a house church network, but over time people just moved out of the area until we grew so small we stopped meeting. To further complicate things my wife is legally deaf, and cannot hear in larger gatherings without an interpreter. The home meetings were perfect! Over the last 5 years I've lost contact with a lot of the friends I made within our Church network and I love nothing more than talking about the Bible and digging into deep truths. I love to talk/debate scripture with people who really want to get to the truth of things.. (versus just argue).

hub and I have learned, more than once, sometimes the hard-way over many years, that when our Heavenly Father puts us in certain situations, such as 'in the wilderness', then it is His chosen time for us to learn to lean on Him and Him only -
this can be a very hard concept to accept, especially when one has been brought up to believe that
a Christian can only be a Christian, IF they are in (4) square walls, under authority of others, as both of us once were...
