I have accepted the grace, Eleven.

Now I feel compelled by the word of God to walk worthy of that grace.

No matter how much my flesh was at war with the word of God I had to obey the word; executing the flesh in the power of the Holy Spirit.

We do not walk worthy of grace to be saved... if you think you have worthiness to add then it is not of grace!!

by grace through faith apart from works.

Sounds a lot like this passage:

Philippians 2:12
[12] Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

There’s that word “work”.

We have all tried to point out your error to you... but pride is mighty obstacle.

I am thankful God pulled "my pride" right down before I was saved as tough as it was... you sir have yet to come to that point and I

state this with all sincerity.... you need to rethink your dogma .. if you look inside yourself we will see there is no peace in what you

believe. None.

No, you have tried to blind me to scripture.

Not going to happen so help me God.

It is not wise to make statements like this, Eleven.

I am at peace having my mind stayed upon God (Isaiah 26:3).

There is nothing we can do good enough to be WORTHY OF GRACE. But if you are saying I want to Love Him back by walking in obedience as best as I can; THAT IS BIBLICAL. It is part of our LOVE FOR HIM, and never has been part of our Salvation. Salvation is a FREE GIFT, that is TOTALLY unmerited, and undeserving.

The Bible says that any believer who willfully sins, with knowledge of God’s word, despises his word and reproaches God himself; that soul shall be utterly cut off and shall suffer the same fiery indignation that the adversaries shall face in the day of judgment.

Let us therefore fear, lest a promise being left us of entering into his rest any of you should seem to come short of it (Hebrews 4:1).
The Bible says whoever claims they are not presently actively sinning is deceived and there is no truth in him

We can not honor nor heed a decieved person

Your past sins were not forgiven until the moment you believed sir.

That is BIBLE!

That is a unbiblical assumption on your part.

2 Timothy 1:9 (HCSB)
9 He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

Truth is HE SAVED YOU BEFORE the world began, when HE wrote our names in the BOOK OF LIFE.
You just RECEIVED that SALVATION that HE gave us as a FREE GIFT, before time began, when you Genuinely Believed.

How many of your sins were YET FUTURE when HE PAID FOR THEM ON THE CROSS.

Romans 5:8-10 (HCSB)
8 But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us!
9 Much more then, since we have now been declared righteous by His blood, we will be saved through Him from wrath.
10 For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, ⌊then how⌋ much more, having been reconciled, will we be saved by His life!

1 Corinthians 6:20 (NRSV)

I am not deceived.

I am redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.

Praise God!

And that joy and power is stronger than all the pleasures the flesh could ever provide, and it lasts! And will last until the Lord takes me home!

Hallelujah!

Paul posed the question to those who would abuse grace by falsely concluding that grace would abound were sin would abound:

Romans 6:1-2
[1] What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? [2] God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Romans 6:6
[6] Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

A true believer, according to the word of God, reckons his body destroyed and crucified.

Galatians 5:24
[24] And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
You think sanctification is justification, that this sanctification is by your own effort, and the product of this works sanctification scheme is salvation itself. All heresies.

Eternal life in Christ Jesus is the counterpoint to being dead to the law. Both happen simultaneously, both are once and forever. Neither can be undone.

MacArthur refutes and destroys the heresies that you proclaim on this thread.
I dare you to listen to this entire sermon. It will leave you a quivering mass of protoplasm.

You might as well listen to the rest of them as well.

Incorrect

For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son
Romans 5:10

Notice this verse says we were reconciled while we were enemies, not after we become friends with God.

Our job is to believe in what has already been done on our behalf.
Exactly.....this joker is a complete waste of time....he/she should take a job twisting pretzels......One of the top deniers of context and scripture twisters/rejectors I have seen on this site.....

How does this even make sense?

All conduct is within that finished work.

No where does scripture state we prove ourselves "worthy" to receive salvation.

Worthy is the Lamb

No one else.
It does not make sense.....his/her whole premise falls flat......tje fact that he/she denies the legal ramifications of paid in full, eternally justified and when I see the blood speaks volumes.....!!

and you state clearly per John's words you are deceived and lacking internal truth......!
John’s words?

These?

1 John 3:6
[6] Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

That’s what I’ve been saying all along.

Try as you may...the word FOR is not found in that verse!!
