Jesus elevated suffering. He united human suffering to Himself. This gave suffering meaning and a powerful witness to Faith in Christ.

We see many examples In Scriptures of God using suffering to lift us up to Himself.
Great point and way of offering. . Suffered unto death not dead never to rise again. But a three day work of the Father and Son working as one God

Because this life is obviously not the real deal that’s in heaven. It is meant as a test to see if we qualify for heaven.

I just shared this in the Random Bible Verses thread today on the same subject:

Phl 1:29 (NET)
"For it has been granted to you not only to believe in Christ but also to suffer for him,"
That is an argument for amorality. If this life doesnt matter than our behaviour can only be based on what we think the next life is and requires us to do. The problem is no one can know that and everyone can chosse to beleive whatever they want about the next life. So the terrorist can murder in the real belief that exploding a bomb and killing people leads to a next life with many virgins to defile.

Why do people suffer?
Let your answer comes from the Word of GOD.
Thanks.

Because of man's sin condition we do not get it as good as the garden of Eden, which God told them they would have it rougher, and physical problems outside the garden.

When the physical reign happens it will be like the garden of Eden again.

In the garden of Eden there was no animal bothering them for the animals did not have fear of people, and there was no insects pestering them, and the there was not weather getting on their nerves, but everything was smooth sailing and all they had to do was prune the garden.

Not a test but a work .This life is designed to pay the wage of sin the sufferings of hell. To some the sufferings is made lighter when yoked with Christ and they are given a new faith by which they will rise on the last day and receive their new incorruptible bodies.

In the new life the things of this world will never come to mind forever more. It will be like it never existed.

I was reading Revelation 19: 12, and the part that mentioned Jesus wearing MANY crowns. The crowns refer to the victories Jesus made over the worlds' lusts, the fleshly desires and the pride of self will. In 2 Timothy 2: 5, Paul is giving advice to Timothy that to earn a crown, one must strive for victory by denying oneself, and that, by obeying the laws of righteousness. Romans describe the two natures within all of us, and the choices we make to obey, will determine victories and a crown, or defeat. The main ingredient is to walk humbly and the actions of obedience to the word. To suffer for Christ is to come out to the other side of temptations without compromise.

Suffering for Christ sake is the time for rejoicing for it is a testamony of a new heart given, a prayer heard and a new birth happening.

To suffer from addiction, sickness, anxiety, mental and physical disabilities, birth defect, are inheritances of Adam. A reminder of the weakness of our flesh and our inability to save or heal ourselves.

The book of Job will help you understand that in general, and the book of acts will help you understand that as to why Christians are abused.
