Hello everyone,

My name is Joshua, i have been a christian for over 24 years now. I enjoy being christian. Prayer helps me relieve stress and also it helps me work towards achieving a blessing. Faith is powerful and has ability to put myself and other people on the road to success.
Faith is sacrificial and requires hard work, the violent take heaven's ticket by force. The devil is at work in the world and doesnt relent in attacking anyone and everyone. Demons are very powerful creatures and the only way to beat them is by persisting and really using faith as much as we can.
I have fasted and prayed and done different things to achieve spiritual success. It takes time to develop faith and get it to the point where we are spiritually independent. I am independent on my faith, as i study the bible often and look at different contexts and meanings in verses.
Faith can be a blessing or a hindrance on life depending on whether you refine it or whether you upgrade it and work on it. I do believe that what doesnt kill you makes you stronger, it applies to everything, and i have been through my fair share of problems.
I am an over comer by faith and through faith.

I would love to know what you enjoy doing which would be considered spiritual or beneficial to others.

Love God, love yourself, love your neighbor. Don't worry about people who mistreat you, vengeance is God's and he will punish individuals if they deserve it. Just keep on giving love. That's the best spiritual advice I can give right now.

I pray each work day to be a blessing to those I work with. Hopefully, besides reading the comments you will reply to some as well. Glad to have you onboard with us. Welcome to CC.

Hi and nice to have you join in the fellowship here at CC! One of the things I do is read my One-Year-Bible every day. It helps someone read the entire Bible in a year with daily readings from the OT, Psalms, Proverbs and the NT. Also, praying is speaking to God so I'm doing that more and more throughout the day. Btw, most of the movies I watch are filmed in the UK and it looks so beautiful and historic. See you around the forums, God bless you!

Hi Joshua, welcome to the site.

For me, I find myself continually being tested with pride. I regularly have to memorize and recite verses that help me remember that I am dependent upon God, for if you look at Lucifer closely, he was the best of all created beings, and yet he fell because of pride. That is sobering to me; when I think I'm doing well, I must be on the lookout for anything within myself that would start to see myself as independent of God. I have come to know the meaning of Jn 15:4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

I have also been through my fair share of pain and trials in life, and I have come to experientially know that all the self-help methods available have one thing in common, which is independence of self, which is exactly the opposite of what God teaches us in the Bible. Jesus is the only one who can save us from our past hurt and pain, and only through Him can we be set free from those things that are hidden in us from the atrocities that have been done to us.

He 4:12
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
